MINIATURE BULL JUDGE MIDLAND COUNTIES 10

BULL TERRIER - MINIATURE

Although not numerically strong, I thought the quality was better than when I last judged the breed. Heads and mouths were good, some were upright in shoulders and there were a few flat feet. I was delighted to see my BOB gain an honourable fourth plac in a strong terrier group, she moved and showed with style and great determination.

PD(2, 1)

1 Orr’s Debully Razmataz. 11 months br/w, well filled head, mouth disappointing, hard strong body, well muscled, excellent coat and condition, moved and showed ok, needs to firm up in topline when moving.

JD(2)

1 and CC, Barrett’s Decadance Discovery Margins. 16 months, cracking youngster in hard fit condition, well muscled quarters, quality head, good expression, well boned compact feet, well handled and presented, active mover, showed like a little stallion, exciting prospect.

2 Woods’ Prince Guvnor. 13 months, laid back character, glossy coat, well conditioned, showed quite well, not the movement or expression of first.

LD(3)

1 Harrison’s Jenkir Thor. 2 years, good head and expression, good muscletone, clean coat, well rounded body with good depth.

2 Dodwell’s Decadance Defender. 16 months, real character, size bigger than first and would like a better layback of shoulder, strong head, lovely eye, well conditioned and handled, shade longer cast than winner, litter brother to dog CC, feet could be better.

3 Hearne &Singleton’s Warbonnet Galetia.

OD(3)

1 and RCC, Presland &Vincent’s Ch/Ir Ch Badlesmere Brabazon In Kofyn ShCM. 4 years old white, short back, excellent bone and body, typical head and eye, composed showman, well conditioned, moved well going away, could move with a little more reach in front, worthy champion.

2 Clark’s Grandopera Carbon Neutral. Two and a half years br/w, very handsome, well boned, constructed and proportioned but just too big for me, clean and beautifully conditioned, masculine head, very well filled, expressive eyes, strong body, sound.

3 Thornley’s Warbonnet Jon Bon.

PB(5, 3)

1 and BP, Dobbin &Van Eck’s Debully Twinkle Toes. 11 months br/w, litter sister to puppy dog winner, hard and fit, good feet, on her toes and taking a keen interest in everything around her, natural showgirl, feminine head, made the most of herself both standing and moving, tail carriage a bit gay on the move presently.

2 Wright’s Kofyn Kontessa Von Hofstetter. 10 months, standing a bit flat on her feet on this concrete floor, attractive head, intelligent expression, fit body, showed steadily but movement needs to improve all round.

JB(2, 1)

1 Groves &Cooke’s Belcanto Dorabella. 17 months white, beautifully clean and well turned out youngster, feminine head, arched neck, well bodied, moved ok, keen alert showgirl, sympathetically handled, did not quite hold her topline on the move today.

LB(3, 1) 1 Whittaker’s Wengormick Petite Lady. Nearly 2 years old, this white is up to size but shapely, well proportioned, good head, intelligent eyes, strong quarters, big body and rib, showed steadily, reasonable mover.

2 Dance’s Decadance Dragonfly. 16 months, another from the Dog CC litter. Best of heads, strong, fit body, well muscled quarters, a little upright in shoulder, shade long in body, could have been handled to better advantage.

OB(4, 1)

1 CC and BOB, Chapman‘s Grandopera Global Warming At Delektabul. Two and a half years r/w, the star of the day for me, so shapely and well put together litter sister to second in open dog, up to size but perfectly balanced, beautiful head and expression, great topline, neckline, bone and quarters, compact body, well rounded with good spring of rib, focused showgirl once she settled down, moved with drive and animation.

2 and RCC, McGregor’s Bullypins Millima Of Merlindan. Very feminine and appealing, 3 years old, dark br/w, dark eyes with that piercing glint, never stopped showing herself off, excellent silhouette when posed, fit body, moved ok behind, a bit wide in front movement.

3 Presland &Vincent’s White Eyed And Legless In Kofyn.
