MINIATURE BULL JUDGE NATIONAL TERRIER 19
Many thanks to the National Terrier for inviting me to judge my favourite breed at this, the
Premier Terrier show; I had a most enjoyable day. I was quite surprised to be told there was
no measure available, but even without the aid of this I could still see a huge variation in
size throughout the entry, mouths were a mixed bunch as well. Temperaments were
excellent, all seemed to be loving their day out and were well-conditioned. Rear movement
was good in most but not front which corresponded with the many short, steep upper arms
& upright shoulders. I was more than happy with both my line ups and I found my main winners
very pleasing. Most of the exhibits were new to me, having no idea until afterwards that my DCC
& Res DCC were litter brothers.

1st: HEARNE, Miss V & SINGLETON, Miss M & CATILINA Mr, Dofro Stormbreaker Warbonnet. Well,
what a way to start the day, this blk/br/white ticked all the boxes for me. His head is well turned
with plenty of fill, he has strength in underjaw with a correct bite plus neat ears bang on top. He has
enough length to his muscular neck, his shoulders are well laid back with a good length of upper arm
so is good for forechest. His topline is strong, he has muscular quarters and has plenty of bone. This
boy is so well balanced viewed from any angle, I was most pleased to award him the CC and can’t
see that the other two are too far away.
2nd: EMETT Mr J & Mrs A, Dofro Avenging Storm, so similar to 1st the same attributes apply although
he is a tad taller and has an incorrect mouth. Like his brother, he has a most pleasing head, OK for
angulation at both ends he is well made all through. He is typical, balanced, and sound and with an
outgoing personality, plus moving well I was happy to award him the Res CC.

1st: YOUNG Mr J & Mrs A Uncle Sam At Bullyview The Warrior, this all white has enough fill & turn to
his head with a keen expression plus he is good for bite. He has a cobby body but is a tad broad
across the front, he has strong quarters, moving with a good side gait but a little wide coming.

1st: BARR Mr & Mrs J & K, Giffenbull Fools Gold, R/w with a head that’s OK for profile but with an
incorrect mouth, he was certainly the best for conformation in this class. He has a pleasing front and
is strong in both loin and quarters.
2nd: 333 HARPER Mr J, Chattanooba Choo Choo Aedestaurum is a
solid red smut, although with an incorrect mouth and not the shoulders of 1, he has a good fill and
turn to his head with a small eye. OK for size.
3rd: TOTH Ms K Pannonszepe Mini Diego

1st: LEWIS Miss K Lafenice Joey Tribiani, a very typy white lad, a tad round in eye his head good for
turn and fill but has an incorrect mouth. He is well constructed all through, good for shoulder, bone,
strength in loin and quarters, he is so well-muscled all through and neat feet he was one of the best
moving dogs here today.
2nd: ROWLAND, Ms C D & LONSDALE Mr K, Ukusa Lil' Denali, a chunky br/w boy, not the front of 1st
but substantial all through & well ribbed up. Nice triangular eye on his well-filled head, good for tail
set and muscular quarters, moving ok when he got going.
3rd: DOBBIN Mr & Mrs C & G Debully Bright Star
OD (4 Entries) Abs: 3
1st: DANCE Mr & Mrs D & D, Decadance Dandini, all white with a well filled head he’s a tall,
substantial boy but all in proportion. Ok for front he has strong topline, loin, quarters and neat feet.

1st: LAMBERT, Mr W & Mrs C E & PEACHER Ms A Lafenice Tamino Of Caliber, super 7 year old B/W in
ex order, so well balanced with lots to like he pleased for overall type. With enough fill and turn in
his head, enough bone, his rear angulation is better than front and he moved with a skip
occasionally but when he got going he went well.
2nd: HARRISON Mrs J D, Kofyn Kaught Red Handed By Jenkir, R/W I have judged before when in her
prime. She is in good order for 7 years and showing herself well, with a feminine head and good
bone she was a little down on her pasterns and letting her topline go today, however she still moved
well on her strong quarters.

1st: HARPER Mr J Aedestaurum Fancy Dress At Olympusbulys, an eye-catching Blk/B/W pup at just 6
months. Although her head could co with more arc she has a perfect bite, a set of good shoulders on
her lovely straight front, she’s slightly long cast but held her topline well and comes alive on the
move, covering the ground with reach and drive. Best PB.
2nd: CLARK, Mr & Mrs D & E & CLARK Miss V, Javarke Wee Wild Fire At Grandopera, preferred the
head of this 9 months pup with enough arc & fill and ears on top. Not quite the length of neck of 1st
but good for bone and feet. A pretty little bitch who is so well-schooled.
3rd: MALCHANAVA , Mrs A & VYSOTSKI Mr P Shacals Seven Wonder At Topasbully
Res: VICKERS Mrs D Duvessa Tinkerbell

1st: BARR, Mrs K & NOVAK Ms J, Cherry Bomb Got A Hangover At Giffenbull (Imp) Aus, this 10
months Br/W was the most “mini type” of the three in this class. With a correct bite in her wellshaped
head perhaps a smaller ear would be preferable. She is OK for shoulders and stands
foursquare, is well balanced with a lovely outline and is good for movement.
2nd: LEWIS, Miss K & WHITE, Miss S & KOCOBA Mr J, Aminirumpus Back In A Minute, 11 months tri,
she has a pleasing head with correct mouth, is very muscular and holding her topline although
perhaps a tad long cast. She has strong quarters, ample bone and is so well-schooled and presented.
3rd: LAMBERT Mr & Mrs W Atain Light Measure Of Caliber

1st: PHILLIPS Mr M & Mrs J Lafenice Hiacynt Bucket Of Bullyon, an eye-catching and very typy mini,
Blk/br with a nice arc to head , good bite, strong underjaw, clean neck but short, upright upper arms.
Viewed from the front she stands straight on good legs, she has a strength in both loin and quarters.
Moved well going away.
2nd: STEPHENS, Mrs C & FARMER Mrs K, Duvessa Rose Of Tudor Seayess, r/w again short in upper
arm and not quite the head of 1st but nevertheless a nice bitch, so well presented and moved well.
3rd: HARPER Mr J Lancer Land Ukulele
PGB (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: STEWART Mrs K, Duvessa Port Ellen, white brindle eye patch, head OK but would prefer a
stronger underjaw, although she has a good length to upper arm she’s a little upright in shoulder.
She stands on neat feet and is in good show condition. Moving ok.

1st: HUGHES Mr G A & Mrs M E Reebook's Kicki Lee At Graymor (Imp) Deu, a big but beautiful all
white, she is so well-constructed. With a stunning head and correct bite, spot-on shoulder
placement and length of upper arm she is strong all through. Moving well as you would expect with
this construction I thought she was a lovely bitch, just too much of her.
2nd: CLARK, Mr & Mrs D & E & CLARK Miss V, Pixar Of Slanting Shore At Grandopera, solid red of a
smaller size, one tight canine. Not the front of one but good for bone and a nice curve to her head so
well-schooled she looked a picture both stacked and on the move.
3rd: DRAPER Mr P & Mrs N D Badlesmere Blackstar
Res: HARRISON Mrs J D Jenkir Kallisto
VHC: STEPHENS, Mrs C & MITCHELL Mrs T & Mr D Mysibul's Of Amazing Grace From Seayess

1st: CIRTICA Mrs V, Infinity Romance Demidreams, this lovely little bitch has a beautiful head with
enough fill & curve and the tiniest of eyes plus a correct bite. Being picky I would prefer a tad more
length of neck but her shoulders are back; a touch more length to her upper arm would complete
the picture. She has muscular quarters, second thigh well developed and neat feet. Put down in such
good condition and moving so well I was happy to award her the CC.
2nd: DANCE, Mrs D & LLEWELLYN Mr & Mrs A, Decadance Destinee Bullypins, blk/br/white, although
of a differing type and a little longer cast to my winner she has lovely outline and is good for size.
She has a feminine head with neat ears, good for body and holding her topline well. She’s very mini
in type and moving well, but tighter feet would finish the picture. I liked her a lot. Res CC.
