BULL MINIATURE JUDGE SKC MAY 13

Miniature Bull Terriers

One of the highest Min Bull Terrier entries at SKC. Since the last time I judged I feel the depth of quality in dogs has declined. The bitches are still strong, but where are all their brothers & sons? Mouths are also on the decline.

PD (3)

1 Plumley & Workman’s Debully Danny Boy, cobby compact shapely white dog, long well filled head with finish & good underjaw. Mouth fault. Lovely eye giving good expression, good bone & topline, moved with drive & covered the ground. Had to be patient as handler & dog not as one all the time, but presented a much better picture when they were. RCC.

JD (3)

1 Hearne, Singleton & Bloom’s Warbonnet Kinda Kinky, super headed & balanced cobby br/w dog with good bone. Mouth fault. Moved with a jaunty air. Would prefer a little more weight. Showed well.

LD (3)

1 Boyne’s Decadance Dauntless, shapely white with red ear markings, strong well filled head with finish, good eye, nice neck, better for size than 2. Front could be tighter, moved better going than coming;

2 Bulmer & Claughan’s Albermarbull Silver Lining, super headed brindle with good eye & expression. Mouth untidy. Excellent bone & substance, moved with a jaunty air. Needs to tighten throughout.

OD (6)

1 Guerrero’s Am Ch Cambria’s Cisco Kidd, shapely eyecatching b/br/w dog, lovely strong turned well filled head with a super eye & good underjaw, mouth correct, straight front with lovely forechest & reach of neck, well sprung ribs & muscled quarters, moved freely & covered the ground, showed as one with handler. Won the CC with ease. CC;

2 Stephen’s Seayess Tartan Moon, cobby white with nicely turned & well filled head without exaggeration, good mouth & reach of neck, fairly well made throughout, moved parallel. Not the best of showmen, could present a completely different picture if more animated;

3 Richardson’s Quayardson Sir Bertie.

PB (4)

1 Kedge & Wiles’ Arcazy Maggie May, eyecatching br/w with a super filled & turned head, good mouth, shapely body with good bone & substance, moved with drive, when she comes out of herself a bit more will be hard to stop, lovely baby, awarded her BP over the dog RCC which shows the high quality of the bitches. BP;

2 Stephen’s Seayess Condition Red, cobby r/w with super profile & fill. Mouth fault. Shapely with good bone, moved with drive from behind. Also needs to come out of herself a bit more;

3 Gardner & Twyman’s Bullypins Mystique into Laronbelle.

JB (3)

1 Hughes’ Graymor Glacial Dawn, small compact typy white, strong filled head with finish & good expression, good mouth, straight front with good angulation, moved parallel & drove from behind;

2 Hearne & Singleton’s Arcazy Uptown Girl by Warbonnet, super headed eyecatching b/br/w, upstanding & shapely throughout. Closer behind than 1, but covered the ground. Ultimate showgirl giving it her all. A virtuous bitch but her cross to bear is her mouth which made this decision very difficult.

LB (5)

1 Bratton’s Natadia Love Actually, well made white bitch, nicely filled head with profile, good mouth, moved well both ways & covered the ground;

2 Grant’s Seayess Tartan Star of Granddach, cobby b/br, nicely turned & filled head with good expression. Front needs to tighten. Moved better going away than coming, showed well;

3 Plumley & Workman’s Nabulltique Holy Moley.

OB (4)

1 Shaw’s Badlesmere Bee Witched, eyecatching feminine cobby white bitch, powerful well filled head with lovely profile & good underjaw, good eye, expression & mouth, very shapely & balanced throughout with good bone & substance. Moved better in front than behind. A real Bull T in miniature, showed her socks off & I wish she was mine. CC & BOB;

2 Llewellyn’s Bullypins Kalypso, eyecatching, typy b/br/w, super profile with good fill & wicked expression, good mouth, lovely reach of neck & shapely body, covered the ground on the move, a real showgirl. RCC;

3 Kedge & Wiles’ Adderswood Vyvyan for Arcazy.
