Thank you to exhibitors for a good entry with few absentees. Good to see exhibitors cheering each other and there was a pleasing atmosphere at the ringside. Overall, the quality could have been a little better. Hind movement needs watching. Please keep a close eye on your dog’s nails, a few needed some close attention. This really spoils any dog but is particularly objectionable in a mini bull terrier.

Veteran Dog.

1.Pannonszepe Mini Diego (Imp Hun). White. Pleased in head which is well filled and of the correct overall shape. Good dark eye of good size and well carried ear. Pleasing forehand. Enough bone. OK topline. Would prefer him a fraction shorter in loin. Well angulated rear. Good in front with good reach but not as tidy as he could be going away. In good coat. Nails need attention.

Post Graduate Dog.

1. Tillbach Apollo. 1 Tri. Good for size. Head proportions are good although I would like more fill to his foreface. Good neck and shoulder. Good round bone and neat feet. Good spring of rib and with good width and depth in front. Falls off a little at the croup. Good hindquarters which are well muscled. Tail carried up on the move. Movement was very good fore and aft.

Open Dog.

1.Oakfayre's Stoat Major. White. Not a big dog and would prefer him a little more masculine. However overall he is nice with a pleasing shape. Quality typey head with good overall proportions and well filled. Nice shape in profile. Keen eye correctly obliquely set. Good neck and shoulder with a nice front assembly. Well angulated rear. Moved well but another carrying his tail up which detracts from his merits.

Special Beginners.

1. Grapevine at Penhildiris. Brindle/White. This is a nice specimen. Good quality head with good eye and ear. A feminine head but still has strength through the muzzle. Nice length of neck into well placed shoulders. Good bone for a bitch. Good underline. Falls of a fraction at the rear if I am being hypercritical. Moved ok. In good condition. Really upped her game in the SB group where she annexed the group 1 under Jill Peak. Congratulations. This is good for the breed.

Puppy Bitch.

1. Smart Tri Corsa Zlota Beja (Imp Pol). Well named as she is a smart Tri. Promising young bitch who is of good make and overall shape. Head of good proportions with a well placed eye and neat ears, but still is rather raw and needs to break in head which will come with more maturity. Good bone and neat tight round foot. Nice topline and tail set. Good rear angulation. Moved well.

Post Graduate Bitch.

1. Risibully It’s A Kind of Magic. Br/W. Easy winner for me. Overall, for type I liked her very much. She has a pleasing head which is of strength yet still feminine. Head in profile exhibits a desired gentle curve and is well filled. Nice strong neck of good length. Well let down in front. Has a nice front assembly. Maybe a fraction long but a good topline and tail set. Moderate rear which is well muscled. Moved very well. Just at the end was starting to sag in the heat. I liked her. BOB

2. Grapevine at Penhildiris. Winner Of SB. 3. Bellalu Luna Neoma

Open Bitch.

1. Ch Risibully Have You Seen Her with Fergustaff JW ShCEx OSW. RBB. Light fawn. This is a striking bitch who is rather eye catching. Again, another bitch who impressed for her overall type. Lovely head and expression. Good length of neck but not the length of upper arm of the best bitch. Decent bone and feet. Good depth of chest. Good overall body proportions. Could be a little tidier going away and would prefer her to carry her tail a little lower.

2. Oakfayre’s Whiplash Weasel JW. White. Nice for size and overall shape. Good head with obe of the best set of ears of the entry. Won her place here on her movement and animation. Not quite the rib or topline of 1. Nice angulation in the rear. In good hard condition.

3. Shine from Space Bulls Aria (Imp Pol). R. Badlesmere Buds of May at Seaquest
