BULL MINIATURE JUDGE WELKS 15 Miniature Bull Terriers I would like to thank the officers & committee for giving me the opportunity to judge Miniature Bull Terriers at this lovely showground & also for their wonderful hospitality. I thoroughly enjoyed giving my first set of CCs. Quality of bitches in particular was very good, & generally speaking size is improving. PD (2) 1 Chitty’s Seaquest El Sid, 9 month old b/br dog of good size. Lovely head with good profile, fill & finish. Mouth fault. A strong dog with good bone & muscletone. Moved well when settled; 2 Haper’s Olympusbulys Milo Toadfoot, an 11 month old tri dog, again a handsome dog but of a larger size. Good head & expression. Correct mouth. Very unsettled today & perhaps if he hadn’t been, the result could have been reversed. JD (3,1a) 1 Lewis’ Lafenice Joey Tribiani, very smart 13 month old white dog of good size. Well filled head with good profile. Correct canines but reverse scissor bite. Good straight front & well balanced. A very tidy dog who moved well after a false start; 2 Kettleborough’s Quayardson Sir Drago at Bullysoul, very small, eyecatching r/w 12 month old dog. Good size & well muscled. Lovely head but has instanding canines. PGD (4) 1 Shaw’s Badlesmere Bygones, 18 month old white dog with brindle eyepatch. Lovely head with small ears, great expression. Well made, well constructed & good size. Tidy feet. Strong quarters. Moved well when settled. CC; 2 Lambert’s Grandopera Didier Drogba of Caliber, 2 year old very smart, eyecatching br/w dog of good size. Lovely head but with reverse scissor bite. Worked extremely well with his owner. Would have preferred to see him carrying a bit more weight. LD (7,1) 1 Rodger’s Mysibul’s Red October, small, very smart 17 month old r/w dog. Lovely head with great profile, fill & finish & correct mouth. Good construction, well muscled & tidy neat feet. Moved well. To be critical I would prefer to see him a bit heavier. RCC; 2 Cserfalvi-Young’s Ducassos Coer De Lion, 21 month old white dog with red eye & ear patches. He is of a good size & is well constructed & well finished, with good profiled head with enough fill. Moved & handled very well. Another close decision. OD (6,2) 1 Richardson’s Trickynetic Drogo, such an eyecatching little dog – & so at-one with his handler. At nearly 12 months old this solid b/br boy is a lovely little package. In fabulous condition with a beautiful head & a great eye for a coloured dog. Undershot mouth. Well muscled body. This baby has great potential. BPD; 2 Multi/Int Ch Canabull North Wind, 3 year old white dog in lovely condition & of a good size. A lovely head with plenty of fill & good finish & small dark eye. Mouth fault. Well constructed & good muscletone. Moved very well. This is a dog to watch, & I’m sure he’ll get his UK title. PB (3) 1 Draper’s Badlesmere Black Dahlia, 11 month old well marked b/br bitch of good size with very nice head, good profile. Well constructed & moved well; 2 Jackson’s Warbonnet Mamma Mia, 6 month old white bitch with brindle ears. What a lovely baby but lots of maturing still to do. Lovely head & very good mouth & lovely eye. Will watch her progress with interest. JB (2) 1 Plumley & Wylie’s Tuskenada Anais Anais with Transcend, 14 months white bitch with black ears. Correct size, lovely head, good profile & finish, correct mouth, small dark eyes. Lovely body with good muscletone. Moved & showed well; 2 Shipp’s Duvessa Gaia, 16 months white bitch of terrier type. A very fine bitch but with good head & correct mouth. Slightly upright in shoulder . PGB (3) 1 Shaw’s Badlesmere Beacoup, 18 month old white bitch (litter sister to DCC winner). Very well balanced bitch of great size, good front. Lovely feet. Very pleasing head with good expression & correct bite. A great package & one to watch; 2 Kettleborough’s Wengormick Petite Pandora at Bullysoul, 22 month old lovely b/br bitch, with very nice head & good mouth. Good body & in great condition. LB (8,2) Best class of the day & 6 beautiful bitches, any one of these bitches could & should make top honours. I felt really sorry for the unplaced bitch as there was just a tiny difference between the first & unplaced bitch. The future of the breed is looking very good. 1 Brommont-Lothary & McGregor’s Zozo Bonsai Von Amadis Gych, this bitch caught my eye as soon as she entered the ring. 22 month old well marked b/br bitch with lovely body shape & pleasing head with correct mouth & lovely eye. Well balanced & well constructed. Best mover today; 2 B Beaucoup. OB (6,2) 1 Hughes’ Graymor Glacial Dawn, small terrier type 3 year old white bitch in excellent condition. Very pleasant profile to her feminine head & with a piercing eye. Good mouth. Good body, straight front & tight feet. In excellent condition. Moved well. A lovely bitch, hope she gets her crown soon; 2 Nicholl’s Decadance Diamantra for Andriona, mature white bitch with red ears. Lovely head with good profile, & plenty of fill. Well placed ears, good eye, correct mouth. Good well muscled body & excellent front & today carrying the correct weight. Moved well; 3 Richardson’s Hofstetter By Intention Quayardson. BP.
