MINIATURE BULL JUDGE WINDSOR 23

It was an absolute pleasure to be asked to judge at this show, a midweek show but I was delighted with my entry, the quality of the dogs far outweighed the quantity, temperaments were exceptional, it’s great to see our breed so in-tune with their owners. Condition of the dogs great, but one or two untidy feet, mouths on the whole are I believe improving, couple of tight/instanding canines and wrong bites, but lots of positive virtues in all the dogs. Some very promising prospects to look out for and judging one or two of the classes the decisions were very close with some dogs just being pipped to the post.

1) OAKFAYRES EMPRESS ETERNAL ( Miss THOMPSON) Well marked br/w bitch, although a heavy set bitch she has lots of virtues, powerful well filled head, wide muzzle with good mouth, well placed ears, shoulder placement correct, good straight front and held her topline when moving which was very good. Lots of bone, but would like her a little lighter in weight. RCC.

1) GRAYMOR GLACIAL HARVEST for NEVERLAND ( Mrs GODSALL Mr&Mrs HUGHES) White dog with ear and eye mark, Head has width and he has good profile with a keen expression, neat ears and good mouth. Good length of neck into well placed shoulders and correct rear angulation, he moves well, but his topline just lets him down a little. He is young yet so he may tighten up when mature. RCC

1) CH DOFRO STORMBREAKER WARBONNET ( Miss HEARNE & SINGLETON) Well marked B/B dog he is a very typey good for size dog with a wonderful expression when he stands up and uses his ears, width to his head with a sweeping profile with fill. Short in back and correct tail set, shoulder placement ok and rear angulation correct which give for good movement when on the move. DCC&BOB

2) GRAYMOR GLACIAL ICE CLOUD ( Mr&Mrs HUGHES) White dog with black ear, lovely expression when he uses his ears which are well placed, not the sweep of profile as first just lacking under the eye, but he has width and his mouth is OK, Good for size again with a nice length of neck and short back just a little upright in shoulder which makes him look a little dippy in his topline but he moves well.

3) DOFRO LITTLE DROP OF POISON (Mr EMETT & Mr&Mrs CATALINA)

4) KILTONTHORPE JONNY FOX with LOUWAB

GCD/B 1 abs 0

1) OLYMPUSBULYS ATHENA ( Mr&Mrs WILSON) Solid almost completely black with brindle bitch, substantial yet feminine bitch, her head has width, but lacks fill , ears are well placed and she has an alert expression, elegant neck and well placed shoulders, correct tail set and when she moves she moves well in front holding her topline, a little close behind.

1) RASELS BULL CECILIA at BILBOEN (Miss FOSTER) White bitch black ears, What a show girl, feminine super sharp expression with a lovely dark eye, good width to her head and gentle profile, ears bang on top, very typey bitch, elegant neck, shoulders a tad upright which makes her just a little long in back, but she moves well both ways on well angulated hind quarters, I’m sure she will go all the way in her career. BCC

2) OAKFAYRES EMPRESS ETERNAL ( Miss THOMPSON) As above RBCC

3) JENKIR ARTEMIS

1) TOPASBULLY VELISLAVA at CLANSMANN ( Mr&Mrs JOWERS) B/B & white well marked ,super short compact head with a whopping profile and a keen expression, ears well placed and used well. A typey bitch neck a little stuffy, good front, topline and correct tail set, movement was good coming forward but quite close behind.

2) RISIBULLY IT’S A KIND OF MAGIC (Miss DAVIDSON) B/W bitch, very feminine bitch, well marked with clean body lines, she was a little overwhelmed with the surroundings I think, but she has a good expression, lacking in fill in her head, mouth ok, ears correct, shoulders well placed and moved very well, she just needs more confidence.

3) BADLESMERE BOBBING ALONG (Mr&Mrs FOSTER)

LB 2 abs 0

2) GRANDOPERA DIMINIMIS ( Ms ROWLAND) Well marked B/W bitch head has lovely profile right to the tip of her nose, ears bang on top which she used well, keen eye, good length of neck, slightly upright in shoulder which them makes her look long in the body, well angulated rear, movement was hard to assess as she was rather unruly on the move.
