CAIRN JUDGE BOURNEMOUTH 11

I would like to thank the committee of Bournemouth Canine Association for inviting me to judge and also all exhibitors.
I am pleased to say that temperament was excellent but quality was lacking in some classes also rear movement on some exhibits was suspect. I was very pleased with my CC winners and I think they were pleased to see each other again too.

Class MPD 3, 2abs

1 Roberts’ Cannwood Cut Above: Very smart confident 7mth old. Lovely head with good eyes and that desirable wicked expression. Excellent condition, well balanced with good tailset and level topline which he kept on the move, and he moved with free flowing stride. Well deserving best puppy in breed will watch his progress with interest.

Class PD 2

1 Lamb & Saltmarsh’s Renshaw There and Back Again: 10 mth old brindle with good coat. Good head with correct eye and ear placement. Coat in good condition Moved OK.

2 Fyfe’s Andrum Hawkey: Almost 11 mths A naughty boy who was not in good coat, but what was there was of correct texture. Correct mouth with good big teeth.

1 Morely’s Kedvaiy Locamotion: A lovely dog with that desirable wicked expression. Excellent coat, well balanced with level topline and correct tailset. Moved freely with drive. Showed well.

2 Thompson’s Castleline Bang on Time: Very similar to 1 and remarks apply. Just preferred movement on 1.

1 Felters & Rumens’ Ch Landbuck Tillisch.: One I have liked since his puppy days. And he did not disappoint on the table. Good double coat in excellent condition and very well presented. Excellent head with correct mouth and good big teeth. Lovely wicked expression. Good bone, lovely length of neck into correct shoulders. Strong quarters giving him that drive which ensured free flowing movement with drive. Very pleased to award him the CC

2 Weinberger’s Ch Come Fly with Me To Correnie: Another lovely dog, very unlucky to come up against 1 today. Excellent head and expression with lovely dark eye. Correct coat in good condition, well balanced showed well. RCC

3 McIntyre’s Glenchess Chloe

Open Bitch 5, 2abs

1 Harding’s Cannwood CH Remember Holly JW: She certainly is well named, I saw her at her first show as a minor puppy and have not forgotten her, and she lived up to expectations on the table. Such a pretty feminine bitch, but still has that wicked expression. Beautiful head with those very attractive dark points which are so striking on a cream. Lovely head, with good dark eye, good length of neck into correct shoulders. Level topline with correct tailset. Good bone and muscle tone and really flowed around the ring. I was very pleased to award her the CC and BOB.

2 Osborn’s Tweslam Maid By Magic JW: Another very nice bitch. Well balanced red brindle with lovely head and expression. Good coat of correct texture. Good length of neck and correct shoulders. Good quarters. Moved and showed well.

3 Dolan’s Glenrood Warrior Princess.
