Just a few words firstly to say thank you to my very able stewards who helped the ring run smoothly throughout my judging. I would also like to thank all the exhibitors who brought their dogs for me to go over, I had a most enjoyable day.

MPD (2) 1 abs

1st Day’s Trekhilli Pepperazzi
Dark brindle boy, well up to size for age, I hope he doesn’t grow on too much, a very confident youngster, nice proportions to his head, good ear placement and definite stop. Shown in good coat of correct texture. Good bone, level topline and good tailset, well muscled, he showed and moved well.

JD (2) 1 abs

1st Parker-Tuckers Uniquecottage Silver Askin
Wheaten Brindle dog, dark points, well set ears and good stop, liked his keen expression well muscled hind quarters, good topline and tailset, double coat of correct texture, nice neat feet & good body condition. Although he was spooked by something coming into the ring, once he settled I loved his balanced outline. Moved well & showed ok.

PGD (8) 1 absent

1st Shoplands Trekhilli Mister Bean at Cherrycrack
A nicely balanced dark brindle boy, with correct head proportions, neat well set ears, good stop, large teeth. Coat of correct texture, level topline and good tailset, well muscled rear quarters, he flowed around the ring and covered the ground effortlessly. A shame he just seemed to lose his spark when standing in the challenge as I liked him a lot.

2nd Keeves’ Seveek I Spied That Dream
Wheaten brindle with dark mask, strong masculine head, very keen expression, correct topline and tail set, good quality harsh coat, in good body condition, difficult to assess him as he is so exuberant but his movement was good once he settled enough to assess it.

3rd Yates & Johnsons Nordcairn’s Quierro Mucho of Pendley (Imp)


LD (4)

1st Parkins Carradine My Mate Matthew
Grey brindle boy, nice masculine head, large teeth, neck flowing into shoulder, good bone, well sprung rib and supple loin, well muscled hind quarters, coat of correct texture, lots to like about this dog, he moved well both ways and showed attentively. Another who just didn’t have that extra spark in the dog challenge.

2nd Percy’s Winetta Sir Ivor
Dark brindle boy, with masculine head, large teeth, good stop, shown in profuse coat of correct texture. Good level topline and correct tailset. Well muscled quarters. He moved correctly with drive behind but preferred front movement of 1 today.

3rd Confue & Pavlova’s Anjofra Roulette Russe


OD (2)

1st Shaw’s Ch Honeyhall Headboy (DCC & BOB)
Dark grey brindle, excels in head proportions, good stop, neat well placed ears and correct eye shape. Good bone, well sprung ribs and supple loin, in good well muscled body condition. Coat of correct texture, level topline. This dog was on his toes the whole time, and flowed round the ring, impresses as being active, game and hardy as the standard requires.

2nd Inett, Harrison, King & Leightons Ch George Flies with Harkinleigh JW (RDCC)
Red Brindle, another with outstanding masculine head, large teeth, good bone, well sprung ribs and supple loin, good muscle to hind quarter, flowed round the ring with drive. Good topline and tailset. Profuse harsh coat of correct texture, he never stopped showing, close decision but preferred rear movement of my 1st placing.


VD(5) 1 abs

1st Lamb & Saltmarsh’s Birselaw Fable of Macmoon
Grey brindle boy with masculine head, shown in good well muscled condition, good topline, excellent double coat of correct texture. Very attentive showman of 7 years, would prefer a bit more propulsion from behind but moved out well in front.

2nd Parkin’s Roachdee Mystery of The Full Moon
Wheaten boy with lovely head proportions, neat ears and good stop. Good coat texture, level topline and correct tailset. Although carrying a bit of excess weight he moved well and never stopped showing. A spritely 10 year old enjoying his time in the ring.

3rd Davies’ Cloverbrook Harris Tweed

Good Citizen Dog (2)

1st Parkin’s Roachdee Mystery of The Full Moon Placed 2nd in VD, same comments apply.

2nd Renshaw There and Back Again Under Macmoon
Dark brindle boy, with correct proportions to his head, good stop, well set ears. Nicely balanced boy, in good quality coat, showed and moved well. Shown in good coat of correct texture, correct level topline and good tailset.

MPB (5) 1 abs

1st Dolan’s Glenrood Dance to The Spell
Dark Brindle, feminine head, with neat well placed ears, good stop and good eye shape, level topline and correct tailset. Very good double coat of correct texture, compact little bitch puppy, very confident for such a youngster, she moved & showed very well. Very promising.

2nd Saich’s Lindcoly Miss Pot Noodle
Cream with dark muzzle, another very confident baby, nice neat ears, big teeth, good stop, level topline and correct tailset, excellent double coat, she moved well when settled, another promising bitch puppy.

3rd Keeves’ Seveek with Svendalens Dreaming Again

PB (5)

1st Percy’s Winetta I’ve Got a Feeling
Very pretty wheaten brindle, excellent head proportions giving correct expression. Neck flowing into shoulders, well sprung ribs and supple loin, well muscled, good shoulder placement giving correct front movement, she had drive from the rear, profuse coat, of correct texture. Gave a very pleasing outline, I feel sure she has a promising future.

2nd Felters and Rumens Lentrica Fame at Landbuck
Wheaten brindle, loved her expression , good stop and well placed ears, good length of neck, good spring of rib, well muscled and in good body condition, level topline and correct tailset. would prefer a bit more coat but what she has is of correct texture, moved with drive from the rear, outgoing showgirl.

3rd Firth’s Lentrica Black Star for Cairngold

JB (2)

1st Waites’ Svendalens Knights Passion
Light wheaten bitch, good stop, dark well placed ears and large teeth, good length of neck, flowed into shoulders, good level topline and correct tailset held on the move. Good quality harsh double coat, she moved well both ways and was very attentive to her handler.

2nd Clayton’s Carradine Here Comes Dolly
Very feminine red bitch with gorgeous expression, large teeth, good stop. Level topline and correct tailset, well sprung ribs, moved & showed with animation. Good quality double coat of correct texture, a very close decision as though different types both these bitches have lots of virtues.


PGB (8) 3 absent

1st Parker-Tucker’s Uniquecottage Florey
Wheaten with dark points, very feminine head, with dark mask giving a gorgeous expression to this bitch. Good shoulder placement and well sprung ribs, shown in excellent double coat. Level topline and good tailset which she kept on the move, shown in good body condition, I loved her free flowing movement & balanced outline.

2nd OSBORN’S Tweslam Gimme Gimme Magic JW
Light red bitch, good stop and correct ear placement, correct textured double coat, excellent level topline and correct tailset kept on the move. Moved very well in front and parallel viewed from the rear. Showing well

3rd Williams’ Seveek Country Sunset

LB (4)

1st Day’s Trekhilli Pickled Peppa
Grey brindle bitch, excellent head, with good stop, good neck flowing into shoulders, good rib and supple loin. Good tailset and topline. Very good quality harsh double coat, I have judged this bitch before and she had matured nicely. Flowed around the ring, reaching well forward and driving from behind. Responding well to her owner.

2nd Osbourne’s Tweslam Born to Bewitch
Wheaten bitch with dark tips to her ears, good stop, large teeth, excellent quality double coat, level topline and correct tailset which she kept on the move. Although I would prefer a bit more animation she gained this placing on her good movement.

3rd Drew’s Miketos Marvelous Fiona at L’Artiste

OB (6) 2 abs

1st Clarke’s Lentrica Dolly Daydream JW (BCC)
Wheaten brindle, with dark mask which sets off her gorgeous head, well placed ears, large teeth, good stop. Nice length of neck flowing in shoulders, supple loin. Level topline and well set on tail, good quality double coat, moved out well, with drive, showed and presented very well.

2nd Dolan’s Glenrood Scheherazade (RBCC)
Light red, very feminine head, with correct proportions, neat well placed ears, good stop and nice eye shape. Good shoulder placement, well sprung rib, muscled hind quarters, excellent topline and correct tailset. This bitch was close up to my 1st placing in this class. Very animated showgirl.

3rd Confue’s Anjofra Mad About Me

VB (2)

1st Byrne’s Little Miss Tonka
Wheaten bitch, dark points, good ear placement, large teeth, good topline and tailset, shown in good quality harsh double coat, well muscled quarters, giving propulsion. In very good body condition, a lovely 9 year old, & very attentive showgirl.

2nd Saich’s Lindcoly Here’s Olive
Feminine red bitch, pretty head with neat ears and good stop. Good quality double coat, topline and tailset good, showed well when she concentrated but kept her owner on her toes. Carrying a bit of extra weight but a sweet 9 year old enjoying her day in the limelight.
