CAIRN NATIONAL TERRIER 12 Judge(s) ALAN FELTERS DCC CRUZO BILBO BAGGINS (MRS G ROBINSON) CAIRN TERRIER Having not judged since September 2009 I looked forward to judging the National Terrier show; I did enjoy my day and thank you for the good entry. My excellent stewards made sure of smooth running of proceedings. Temperaments were superb. I found no bad mouths or light eyes. The earlier classes in both dogs and bitches held some interesting prospects and the higher classes brimmed with quality. There has been criticism of lack of forechest and poor movement, there was evidence of this on the day, also dirty coats but I found exhibits who had been bathed and though clean, the coat was soft and shiny. I don't like round eyes. There was great diversity in size and substance. MPD (3, 1) 1 Bradshaw Newfield Harvest Moon R/br baby. Liked his shape.
