Really enjoyed judging this breed. A distinct laid back approach and a very unspoilt breed. I thought the top winners to be really lovely and should be able to hold their own against the other Terrier breeds. It seems there was a family pattern to the main winners.

1st: 1293 PEERS, Mr & Mrs G S & PEERS Miss L E Tweeedisle Jaunty Lad Really promising pup. Delightful character. He has a super head, just right for balance. Good neck. Well laid shoulder. Good body. Correct tail set. Quite moderate rear. Accurate out and back. Thick coat. BP

2nd: 1290 PARKER-TUCKER Miss A R Uniquecottage Grey Borage Looks quite raw and a fraction long as yet. Not head of 1, a bit long in muzzle. Good neck. V good front. Topline can settle. Short of coat but texture correct.

2nd: 1282 LAMB, Ms J & SALTMARSH Mr B Osw Birselaw Come Dancing With Macmoon JW Sh.CM Sh Liked his balance and proportions. V masc in head. Good neck. Well laid shoulder with straight front. Well bodied. Liked his rear. Better front action than 3.

3rd: 1277 KEEVES Mrs J Seveek Treasure the Dream

1st: 1271 DAY Mrs G Tribannon Chocolate Chip At Trekhilli Liked his outline and proportions, wouldn’t want any more of him. Well balanced head, super eye and expression. Strong neck. Well laid shoulder and a straight front. Well bodied. Good ribs and loin. Level topline. Well set tail. Well bent stifle with low hocks. Super coat. RCC

2nd: 1275 HARRISON Mrs R Carradine Whiskey Oscar I thought he was just a bit longer than 1. Pleasing head. Correct coat, he has a good neck. Well laid shoulders. Well sprung ribs. Level topline with correct tail set. Moderate rear. Accurate on move.

1st: 1299 WAUGH Mrs A Ch Tribannon Karamak Really lovely young d, super mover and showed so v well. Liked his head, well balanced, correct skull. Well set ears. Super eye and expression. Long neck. Well made in front. Ribs go well back to a short loin. Firm topline. Well made rear. Coat just holding on. CC & BOB

2nd: 1280 KINTON Mrs S Ch Woodthorpe I Know the Code Lovely d, mature and v well proportioned. Super head. Liked his neck. Just a bit wide in front and not stride of 1. He has a super body. Well made rear, full of muscle. In good coat.

3rd: 1284 LAMB, Ms J & SALTMARSH Mr B Renshaw There And Back Again Under Macmoon Sh.CM

1st: 1279 KINTON Mrs S Cloverbrook Unbreakable at Woodthorpe Delightful pup, full of character. She has a super head. Liked her eyes and ears. Lengthy neck. V good front. Well ribbed. Level topline. Could have a better tail set. V good rear. Moves well.

2nd: 1287 OSBORN Mr & Mrs A Tweslam Chasing Rainbows Delightful pup. She has a fem head. Eyes small, dark and round. Ok neck. Good front. Well ribbed. Runs up slightly on the move. Pleasing rear.

3rd: 1295 PEERS, Mr & Mrs G S & PEERS Miss L E Tweedisle Spirit Free

Junior B (3)

1st: 1272 DOLAN Mrs S E Whispers At Dawn At Glenrood She really is a lovely b, just rather understated in her performance. Super head, neat ears, correct stop. Super eye and expression. Straight front. Good neck. Well laid shoulders. Level topline with a good tailset. Plenty of hind angulation. Moves well must needs maturity. RCC

2nd: 1278 KEEVES Mrs J Seveek Cherry's Dream Typy b who was having fun. Liked her head. Good neck. Not the front of 1. She has a super body. Her angulation is v well balanced. Coat ok. Could put more effort in moving.

3rd: 1297 THOMPSON Mr S Castleline Corrie

Thought this was a v even class.

1st: 1274 GOUD Mrs M & Mr R Pentrica Liberty Bell Put on a good performance. She has a fem head, well proportioned with correct stop. Preferred her eyes to 2. Enough neck. Moderate and balanced in her angulation. Well bodied. Moved well. In good jacket.

2nd: 1298 THOMPSON Mr S Glenrood Love In A Mist Deceptively well made b, with well balanced angulation. Eyes rather round. Could have a bit more neck. Good front. Liked her body. Accurate mover.

3rd: 1276 INETT, Miss D, HARRISON, Mrs R & CLAYTON Miss C Carradine Winnie

1st: 1286 OSBORN Mr & Mrs A Tweslam Gimme Gimme Magic JW Liked her proportions and balance. Fem head, lovely eye and expression. Neat ears. Could have a bit more neck. Straight front. Well bodied. Level topline with a good tail set. In v good coat. Went well.
