Cairn Terriers

V (1)

1 Grainger’s Ch Devil In Disguise, provided a good start to breed as he is very well balanced with a lovely typical outline. In excellent condition for his age with a smallish head, bright inquisitive clear & strong jaw with good dentition. Decent forehand with good tight elbows & well padded feet. Harsh topcoat, could have a little more undercoat. Sound & free moving. RBD.

PD (2)

1 Keeves’ Seveek I Spied That Dream, small well set, neat ears, keen expression, decent forehand, good depth of rib for age. Level topline & well set tail. Good double coat. Very steady & sound on the move;

2 Kippen’s Carradine Dee Jay, a handsome youngster with a good harsh outer coat & a pleasing head & expression. Good body & rib. Good tail carriage, just a little unschooled on the move as yet.

JD (1)

1 Lamb & Saltmarsh’s Birselaw Dark Charmer, smallish skull, well set dark eyes & neat ears. Not in the best of coats today but very well balanced & typy with a good forehand. Moved soundly.

OD (2)

1 Lamb & Saltmarsh’s Renshaw There And Back Again, beautifully balanced & shown in a good jacket with a harsh outer coat & decent undercoat. Pleasing expression, good forehand, well ribbed with a level back of medium length. Sound & free moving. BD;

2 Day’s Cherrycrack Ludo at Trekhilli, well made & very workmanlike, good head with keen expression, deep rib & strong muscular hindquarters. Good both up & down & very easy & free moving in profile. Good jacket.

PB (4)

Four good puppies who all moved well.

1 Osborn’s Tweslam Gimme Gimme Magic, at 11 months of age she scored here in rib & body, smallish skull with adequate breadth, keen expression enhanced by neat ears & a dark eye. Excellent forehand, good topline & tailset. Jaunty & sound on the move. BP, RBB;

2 Short’s Splinterhill’s Amazing Grace to Glenchess, very good outline & balance with a harsh double coat, delightful temperament, good neck & shoulders. Good topline & tailset with something behind the tail. Very sound;

3 Keeves’ Seveek Hopes ‘N’ Dreams.

JB (2)

1 Keeves’ Seveek Hopes ‘N’ Dreams, a really good moving youngster with an attractive head & expression. Excellent topline & tailset. Strong well muscled hindquarters;

2 Day’s Trekhilli Pickled Peppa, this is a lovely bitch to handle as she is beautifully balanced with a good head & keen alert expression. Well ribbed & shown in first class form. Couldn’t quite match the drive of the youngster today.

PGB (2,1a)

1 Osborn’s Tweslam Born To Bewitch, very typical in all respects with a harsh well presented jacket, lovely head & expression, good depth of rib & strong loin. Shows & moves to best advantage. BB,BOB.
