CAIRN JUDGE SOUTHERN COUNTIES 15

Cairn Terriers

I would like to thank all the exhibitors for their entry and for having such proficient stewards. Everyone has their own interpretation of the Standard, which makes it all so individualised. For me general type, conformation & soundness is high on my list of priorities. I did find the variation of overall size initially a bit disconcerting. Mouths were good, most teeth were clean & all dogs nice to handle on table.

MPD (2)

1 Mear’s Glenmear McIntyre, very well grown light r/br of 8 months, built all in proportion with good overall length of leg. Pleasing head with nice neck & shoulders. Typical puppy coat on the blow that would be improved with trimming. Showed well but likes to do his own thing which is nice to see in a puppy;

2 Saich’s Seveek Man About Town for Lindcoly, 8 months of smaller type. Nice head & expression. Liked his neck & shoulders, good spring of ribs with firm body. Moved very soundly & steadily. At present just not as confident as above.

1 Thomas’ Ch Tycadno I Spy, difficult to think of something original to say about this one!
