CAIRN JUDGE THREE COUNTIES 15

It was an honour and privilege to judge our breed at this show and I thank the committee and officers for their kind hospitality.

I was disappointed in the rear movement in many of the exhibits with the hocks so close together, it seems to have become the norm, the standard clearly states, ‘neither too close nor too wide apart’. The hindquarters of the Cairn are most important ‘ very strong and muscular’ very few exhibits reflected this and paid the price.
