1 Lamb & Saltmarsh’s Birselaw Come Dancing with Macmoon Osw JW ShCEx ShcCM. Has kept a very good shape with that alert and workmanlike appearance which is such a trait of the breed. Pleasing head piece, well bodied, firm level topline and a good tailset. In good coat and moved well, BV.

MPD (3)

1 Lamb & Saltmarsh’s Tycadno Shinning Star around Macmoon. Very promising youngster, who is well balanced throughout. Good width of skull, dark expressive eyes and well placed ears. Pleasing length of neck set in well placed shoulders. Good spring of rib for his age, nicely rounded hindquarters and a well set tail. Harsh top coat with good depth to it. Sound on the move, BPD.

2 Inett & Harrison’s Carradine Bright Cider Life. Another very good puppy who pushed the winner close. Liked his size, shape and overall balance. Very typical in head, defined stop, alert expression and small well carried ears. Well made front assembly, good body shape and good strength of quarters for his age. Positive mover. A little between coats on the day.

3 Parkin’s Mosspur Into The Shadows.

GD (2)

1 Harrison & Inett’s Carradine My Way Lenny. Typy dog who is so well made throughout, balanced and was on his toes at all times. Pleasing head, eye and expression. Clean front and stands on good legs and feet. Well ribbed and good strength of loin. Firm level topline that he holds on the move. Really comes into his own on the move with a sound and positive action.

2 Thomas & Jones Tycadno New Tricks. Slightly larger framed dog but still keeps a balanced appearance. Good head piece, dark eye and a bright expression. Correct body shape, good depth and well made hindquarters. Presented in good double coat. Was unsettled on the move on the day which wasn’t helped by the uneven ground.

PGD (1)

1 Thomas’s Tycadno Magic Man. Although standing alone a very worthy winner. Liked his size and very typical outlook. Handled well on the table and is very well made throughout. Balanced head, good strength of muzzle, alert expression and well furnished. Firm body and a good tailset and carriage. Pleasing bend of stifle. Best of coats. Moved well.

LD (2)

1 Inett & Harrison’s Carradine Apple Jack. Quality dog of excellent make and shape. Masculine throughout but shows no sign of coarseness. Best of heads, broad skull and good strength of muzzle. Well made front assembly, good legs and feet, well sprung ribs and good width of quarters. Presented on the day in the best of coats. Soundest of movers on a free and easy stride.

2 Byrne’s Carradine Howzat Howard. Typy dog of pleasing size and of overall good construction throughout. Balanced head with a very typical outlook, good shape, dark eye and well placed ears. Well developed body, level back, well angled rear but is no way excessive. Another who was unsettled on the move on the day.

OD (6,2)

Competative class.

1 Parker-Tucker’s Uniquecottage Grey Borage. Lovely dog who just says Cairn Terrier throughout. Was on his toes at all times on the day and is so soundly made and has that workmanlike appearance the standard asks for. Best of heads, very well balanced along with a bright and alert expression. Scores in neck and shoulders, shapely body and a good tailset and carriage. Correct double coat. Moved soundly with excellent reach and drive, CC & BOB. Was told that this was his third, congratulations.

2 Shannon, Storr & Middlehurst’s Brenndarcy It’s Magic (AI ). Such a sound and honest dog, nothing exaggerated here. Has a very typical outlook. Pleasing head shape, defined stop, good strength and a dark eye and keen expression. Stands on good legs and feet, pleasing topline and tailset and well let down hocks. Another on the day in the best of coats. Sound on the move both fore and aft, Res.CC.

3 Jones & Arnald’s Ch.Tycando Tom Fooley.

MPB (3,1)

1 Thomas’s Tycando Winter Star. I am not prone to awarding top honours to puppies but on the day this youngster just said look at me, so typical but also had the character and attitude to complete the picture. Liked her size and make and shape. Lovely head and eye along with neat well placed ears. Pleasing length of neck and a good layback of shoulders. Well developed body for her age, level back that she held on the move and the best of coats. Such a sound and positive mover who really covered the ground on the best of strides, CC & BP.

2 Shannon & Storr’s Brenndarcy Just Trilby. Very much a baby. Pleasing head, eye and expression. Clean over the neck and shoulders. Correct level topline and a good tailset and carriage. Pleasing width of quarters and a good bend of stifle. Still needs to body up to complete the picture but has time on her side. Moved well.

GB (3)

1 Parker-Tucker’s Birselaw Floral Dancer of Uniquecottage. One I liked a lot and not far off top honours on the day. Presents such a typical appearance, agile, alert and workmanlike. Best of heads, broad skull and the required defined stop. Good strength of muzzle and a lovely eye and expression. Scores in front assembly standing on good legs and feet. Level back and a good tailset and carriage. Excellent weather proof coat of good depth. Soundest of movers.

Pleasing head piece with the best of expressions and neat well placed ears that she used well. Very clean over the neck and shoulders, well sprung ribs and a short strong loin. Excellent strength of hindquarters with well let down hocks. Sound, but was giving her handler a hard time in trying to get her head up.

Well made front, good neck and layback of shoulder along with pleasing bone and feet. Good tailset and carriage and well developed quarters. Another who was unsettled on the move on the day.

1 Thompson’s Castleline Maitree. So well made throughout. Well balanced appearance and was alert at all times, both stood and on the move. Pleasing head, expressive eyes and small well placed ears. Best of fronts, so clean over her neck and shoulders and stands on good legs and feet. Firm body, well sprung ribs and the best of hindquarters that she uses to advantage on the move. Such a sound mover with excellent reach and drive.

Best of heads, broad skull, defined stop, excellent strength of muzzle and a lovely eye and expression. Firm topline and a good tail, short and carried well along with good width of quarters.
