CAIRN JUDGE WINDSOR 12

Veteran Dog/Bitch - NO ENTRIES

Puppy Dog (1)

1st Bradshaw & Shannon s Newfield Harvest Moon over Brenndarcy Light red brindle dog, 9 months old, dark points, masculine headed dog, large teeth, correct bite, took time to settle but when he did he looked a picture, moved steadily, new coat of correct texture just coming through. Good topline and tailset, nice length of neck, just needs to body up, which he has plenty of time to do. Promising young dog.

Junior Dog - NO ENTRIES

Post Grad Dog (2)

1st Byrne & Inett s Carradine Brian The Lion (Res Best Dog) Grey brindle dog, with nice proportions to head, correctly placed ears, large teeth, good length of neck, good front with level topline, well sprung rib, longer in loin than 2nd but a lovely balanced outline, correct texture coat, and good tailset. Despite the smells in the grass his handler managed to get the best out of him, moved & showed very well.

2nd Lamb & Saltmarsh s Renshaw There & Back Again Red brindle dog, nice head, with correct expression, large teeth, correct bite, good quality double coat, good tailset, level topline, not as positive in rear movement as my class winner today.

Limit Dog (1)

1st Keeves Seveek Who Dares Wins Dark brindle dog, with a super head, correctly placed ears with good stop and big teeth. Good length of neck, and level topline, good quality double coat, just a bit unsettled in front action. Showed very well, attentive showman.

Open Dog

1st Inett & Bambridge s Ch Carradine Crackaway Jack (Best Dog & Best of Breed) Dark red brindle dog, this dog has a true keen Cairn expression, he excels in head with good stop, nice broad skull, large teeth, with correct bite, well sprung ribcage and strong supple loin, well muscled quarters. Excellent quality double coat, good tailset, he flowed round the ring with drive from the rear.

2nd Confue s Anjofra I m Not Going JW Dark brindle dog, another true keen expression, good stop and large teeth. Level topline and well set on tail, good quality double coat, slightly shorter coupled than 1 but well balanced, moved well both ways but just lost interest a bit in the dog line-up.

Good citizen Dog or Bitch

1st Keeves Seveek Who Dares Wins Dark brindle dog, with a super head, correctly placed ears with good stop and big teeth. Good length of neck, and level topline, good quality double coat, just a bit unsettled in front action. Showed very well, attentive showman.

2nd Lamb & Saltmarsh s Birselaw Fable Grey brindle dog, masculine head, good ear placement, large teeth. Good quality double coat, level topline, well muscled quarters, showing very well & co-operating with his handler, moving well in front but a tad close behind today

3rd Laker s Anjofra Nobody s Perfect at Wizoz

Puppy Bitch (5) 1 Absent 1st Osborne s Tweslam Thistle Be Magic Light red brindle bitch, feminine head, good stop, nice ear set, large teeth, good length of neck flowing into shoulder, double coat, correct tailset, when settled she moved soundly both coming and moving away. Promising puppy.

2nd Burnett s Kilnyard The Best of Luck A pretty bitch, with a nice keen expression, neat well placed ears, large teeth, a profuse good quality double coat, level topline with good tailset, she was a real live wire & her owner struggled to keep her feet on the ground, but she is a nice puppy with a pleasing outline.

3rd Bradshaw s Newfield Michaelmas Daisy

Junior Bitch (1)

1st Hacker s Teddeana Ashana Light red bitch, dark points, lovely keen expression, large teeth, double coat, level topline and good tailset, she moved very well both ways but she lacked enthusiasm for showing today.

Post Grad Bitch (3) 2 absent

1st Kinton s Woodthorpe Maybe This Thyme Grey brindle bitch, another with a gorgeous keen expression, good stop and well placed ears, large teeth. Excellent double coat of correct texture, nice spring of rib, well muscled quarters, sound movement, driving from the rear. Happy exuberant showgirl who co-operated well with her owner.

Limit Bitch (4)

1st Waugh & Carlton-Smith s Tribannon Guardian Angel (Reserve Best Bitch) Light red brindle, the best of heads, good stop, giving the true Cairn expression, large teeth, well placed ears. Good length of neck, flowing into shoulders, good depth of brisket, well muscled quarters, nice tailset, movement excellent when she settled but gave her handler a hard time. Coat a bit inbetween stage but of correct texture. I considered her for Best Bitch but my winner just had the edge on maturity & showmanship.

2nd McIntyre s Glenchess Chloe Dark Grey Brindle, yet another lovely headed bitch, good stop and correct ear placement, large teeth, good neck and nice spring of rib, excellent double coat, good tailset and level topline. In good well muscled condition, this bitch has nothing exaggerated and I liked her a lot.

3rd Inett s Carradine Come on Irene

Open Bitch (5) 2 absent

1st Osborne s Twelam Maid By Magic JW (Best Bitch) Red bitch, lovely feminine head, good stop and ears well set, neck flows into shoulders, well sprung ribs, level topline, which she kept on the move, correct tail set, excellent double coat of correct texture, she has well muscled quarters, this bitch flows round the ring, covering the ground well, showed well to win Best Bitch but just lost concentration when up against the Dog.

2nd Kinton s Woodthorpe Playin For Thyme Grey brindle bitch, another quality bitch, lovely head, with dark mask to give keen expression, nice spring of rib, level topline and good tailset, moved very well both ways, another bitch I liked a lot, not overdone in any way, would have just liked to see her trimmed to emphasise her attributes.

3rd Waugh s Tribannon in the Limelight
