Cesky Terriers

I really enjoyed sorting this entry out. The breed is making good strides with a more even type across the entry. Temperaments have improved a lot & there were some promising youngsters.

JD (6,1a)

A nice class to start with promising youngsters down the line.

1 Atter’s Rossau Voodoo, lovely outline & caught my eye as soon as I looked at him as he was eager to show off his good points, head developing well with no hint of coarseness, moved very briskly & the correct chest & ribbing for this breed. Elbows will need to tighten a little but that should come as he matures & muscles up. A very worthy BP against some nice youngsters & RBD as he is quality & shows real promise;

2 Evans’ Pendevour Phranklin, close up & another of quality, pleasing type & the correct outline, was a real baby & a bit unsettled on the move but the temperament was good & with more experience will no doubt settle to the job, should make a very nice one;

3 Samson & Igglesden’s Pendevour Phelix.

PGD (3)

Quite a tough class to sort out.

1 Burrows’ Rossau Poet, the steadiest in the class which meant that he had to win it, stood up quite well to examination & moved well enough, was a touch thick in skull for me but deserved his placing;

2 Gay’s Oneva Eduard Malsville, preferred the head on this one & thought that we was a good type. However, decided to play the handler up so made it difficult for me to assess him;

3 Hammond’s Oneva Elegant.

OD (3,1)

1 Burrows’ Pendevour Pascal, an interesting contest in this class, this boy was very steady & showed well, OK in head & skull & moved well & briskly, could perhaps be a shade longer in body & loin but still looked very typical. BD on maturity;

2 Richardson’s Talyot Damocles, stylish sort but decided not to cooperate with his handler & insisted on crabbing & fighting the lead. A pity as he is clearly a typical quality boy.

JB (3)

1 Evans’ Pendevour Phlashdance, litter sister to Phranklin & the same lovely type, unlike her brother this one has already learned what to do, bags of attitude & stands & shows off her lovely outline, very promising & pushed the puppy dog hard for BP;

2 Fewing’s Komidion Madrigal, nice youngster who was pleasing to go over, made it easy for 1 as she was not cooperating;

3 Rusby’s Rossau Zaarava at Placido.

PGB (5,2)

1 Samson & Igglesden’s Komidion Keluri Lastarean, won this class with a bit to spare as she was a nice easy mover, good outline, good head & skull, feminine & well handled, nicely fronted. RBB;

2 Tobijanski’s Janski Martyna with Zippor, not very happy in the ring which was a shame as she looked quite good on the table, pity;

3 England’s Sametova Angelique at Ashleyheath.

OB (4)

1 Tobijanski’s Janski Celtic Ceska, stylish glamorous sort, well presented, good outline, very brisk on the move, good rear & OK in front, correct ribbing, OK in loin, nice tail & has a bit of presence which makes her a big ring dog as well, well presented & handled. BOB;

2 Clark’s Pendevour Pheel Therhythm, very nice. Not quite as finished or mature as 1 & I suspect there is better to come. Feminine but not in any way weak, OK in outline, ribs & loin, moved well up & back, close up for the RBB award & we shall probably hear more from her;

3 Atter’s Gloria Kvitko.
