CESKY EAST OF ENGLAND 13 Judge(s): MR N STRAW Cesky Terriers Thank you for your entries with no absentees which is very rewarding, being third in the ring your patience was much appreciated I had a lovely day judging your dogs. PD (1) 1 Tobijanski’s Janski Kalliope Jones, same sire as my BOB & it shows. Lovely type, well made skull, correct earset & carriage, well filled under the eye, good muzzle & bite. Front needs to settle but well come with maturity. Good neck & shoulders, ribs carried well back, correct rise over the loin, parallel hocks set high, moved well out & back & in profile, should do well. RBD & BP. PGD (3) 1 Tobijanski’s Janski Ceskasson Blue Moon, out of my BOB. He too has good balanced outline, correct head proportions, well placed ears, correct bite, well off for bone, good ribs, well muscled quarters, high set hocks. Did not give of his best on the move as did his younger kennelmate; 2 Lewis’ Komidion Nickelodeon avec Dajaces, larger type but well balanced, clean skull, good eye & bite, good bone, muscular neck, well sprung ribs, good rise over the loin, well muscled quarters, moved out well. Preferred the size & balance of 1; 3 Fewings’ Komidion Mahler. OD (2) 1 Lewis’ Komidion Fanfare Dajaces, although up to size there is no denying his overall balance & condition at 11 years. Good length of skull, well filled under eye, good muzzle & bite, ample bone, strong neck, ribs well sprung, correct topline, well muscled upper & lower thighs which he uses well to power around, well padded feet & in hard condition. BD; 2 Marett’s Lastarean Kral of Zidout, another veteran of good breed type, well balanced head, correct bite, neat front, good strong neck, well ribbed, slight rise over the loin, well made hindquarters, hocks set high, good in profile. Could not match 1 on the move. PB (1) 1 Tobijanski Janski Kuralan, litter sister to my BP. Very similar in make & shape, lovely feminine head, well shaped eye, good muzzle & bite, ample bone, well ribbed, firm loin. Muscletone still developing. Hocks set high. A little unsettled on the move which could have been the heat, nevertheless a lovely bitch with time on her side. PGB (2) 1 Fewings’ Komidion Madrigal, judged this bitch as a very raw 7 month old, I was pleased to see her as a mature bitch. Lovely head, earset & eye, correct muzzle & bite, neat front, strong neck to good layback, correct rise over the loin, sound quarters, high set hocks, well padded feet, moved well fore & aft. 2 Burrage’s Komidion Night Music at Sametova, another well balanced bitch, feminine head, good earset & carriage, well shaped eye, good muzzle & bite, good bone, strong neck & layback, firm loin, parallel hocks set high, lovely outline. Not giving her best on the move. OB (5) This was without doubt a super class to judge. 1 Tobijanski Janski Celtic Ceska, at 7½ years this bitch was in top form, lovely outline in profile & in the sun her coat looked stunning, lovely feminine head, good earset & carriage, correct muzzle & bite, neat front, lovely neck, & shoulders & topline, parallel high set hocks, moved with purpose & drive, presentation A1. BOB & G4; 2 Fewings’ Komidion Blackthorpe River Rhapsody, slightly larger than 1 but balanced well throughout, clean skull, good earset, well shaped eye, correct muzzle & bite, ample bone, strong neck, well laid shoulders, well sprung ribs, good rise over the loin, well muscled quarters, hocks set high, moved out well fore & aft. RBB; 3 Burrage’s Vandell Sweet Song of Sametova. NEIL STRAW |
