Cesky Terriers

A limited entry today but one which amply illustrates the quality & style of the breed as it approaches full recognition with the forthcoming introduction of CCs. I was impressed by the prominence of the older exhibits which proved once again how the Cesky matures so well with age.

Three nice well presented dogs.

1 Tobijanski’s Janski Miloslav, greatly impressed by the overall balance of this 20 month old boy, everything in the right place, quality head, good deep front, good for bone & substance, strong neck into well laid back shoulders, correct topline & excellent outline, moved out well and with drive. BD & BOB;

2 Taylor’s Janski Ossie Jones at Polede, similar qualities displayed in this 19 month old with good deep brisket, good bone throughout, stylishly presented & moving well, just a shade longer cast than 1;

3 Fewings’ Komidion Ostinato.

1 Burrage & England’s Ashleyheath’s Black Thunder, another close class with two excellent, well proportioned dogs of quality with my winner taking the class through his overall style, excellent head, good bone & very good shoulder placement & rear angulation, just lost out in the challenge on fluency of movement;

2 Tobijanski’s Janski Ceskasson Blue Moon, another balanced & nicely finished dog, well presented & with a fine head, front & overall outline.

1 Fewings’ Komidion Madrigal, showing class & quality in maturity this 7 year old showed & moved impressively, well boned throughout & with a typical profile, she led another class of well presented & balanced dogs;

2 Tobijanski’s Janski Ultra Violet, good shape & in fine trim, nice topline & moving with drive, just preferred the front of 1;

3 Burrage’s Komidion Night Music at Sametova.

1 Burrage’s Vandell Sweet Song of Sametova, on her own & in a class of her own this 10 year old is a super specimen for her age, a credit to the breed, lovely shape & outstanding presentation, still very much the showgirl & still moving with drive & enthusiasm, delighted to see that she took third place in the terrier veteran group. BV & BB.
