My only concern in those entered today was the number of dogs with a level bite, this needs addressing before it becomes the norm. Several good exhibits with pleasing construction were totally lacking in coat today & when in full jacket should do very well in the breed. I did note a variation in size and as a judge one has to weigh up point for point and award accordingly on the day.

1ST 3226 - Dainty Dandies Explorer at Lenacourt (Imp Nld) (Mrs V G Harcourt-Morris)
Very pleasing young male who today had to be given time & patience to gain in confidence as the strong wind & noise coming from the marques was very off-putting. Has a lovely head shape with ears well back & pendulous, his eyes are round, full & wide apart, strong muzzle, muscular neck flowing into well laid shoulder, holds elbows well, still needs to fill in front, ribbing is developing very well, tapering tail correctly set on, well shaped feet.

1ST 3236 - Lairdship Larger Than Life (Mrs C & Mr M Mills)
Pleasing in head & neck, expressive, round eyes well set, moves with great confidence, correctly set tail, good ribbing but a shade long in loin, well angulated stifles with firm hocks, round well padded feet.

Masculine all through, pleasing head but rather a lot of tear staining, well sprung ribs & is well let down in chest, in good body condition & weight spot on, correctly set tapering tail, moved soundly from his well constructed rear, good driving action, coat of correct textures.
2ND 3239 - Dandiroyal Dashwood (Miss S M Rolland)
Finer boned than 1st & just coming into a new coat, well shaped skull with correctly set ears, needs more fill in chest, well shaped feet, good out line would just like more substance.

Love the size of this male & presents such a lovely profile when stood, shown so well on a loose lead & enjoying himself, coat & condition was perfect, has a most lovely head with excellent eye & ear, strong muscular neck which flows into well laid back shoulders, no sign of heaviness, holds his feet in position with feet pointing forwards, has perfect amount of body coverage & good rear angulation, moved so well.
2ND 3231 - Cib/nord Ch Whisborne Jalapanos (Mr Lowe & Mrs A Kanflod & Ulltveit-Moe)
Another of pleasing size & stature, not the coat of 1, in good body condition with well set tapering tail which he carried well, good feet, moved well from his front but would prefer more drive in rear action.

Strong jaw but prefer a better skull, liked her length & shape overall, correct ribbing & loin, well set tail, she moved soundly both fore & aft, good texture top coat.
2ND 3224 - Finamor”s Chiquitita (Mrs L Clements)
Coat needs attention as still holding onto a lot of soft puppy coat, clean & well presented just needs stripping to gain harsh top coat, pleasing in her head shape with good eye & strength of jaw, feminine all through she needs more ring training, well shaped feet.

Lovely body shape on this 7 yr old, pleasing in front which she uses well to reach out on the move, large bright eyes well set, pendulous ears set close to cheek, would prefer a more domed forehead, harsh top coat of correct texture, drives well from her rear, stifles well angulated.

Full of life & enthusiasm, quite confident, well shaped skull & good jaw, neck flows into well laid back shoulders, feet pointing well forward for young age, well presented puppy coat, sound quarters & positive rear action.
2ND 3235 - Etsill Evie (Mesdames B E & B A Kurg & Milton)
A shade finer all through than 1 but has the most lovely outline stacked, scored highly in both front & rear movement, one who will do well just not in coat today.

1ST 3242 - Finamor's Voulez Vous with Bonnybeck (Miss L Sleight)
Maturing very nicely this bitch was in excellent coat today & presented to perfection, desirable in skull & jaw with good bite, lovely expression with correctly held pendulous ears, once she got into her stride she was showing good reach in front & positive drive from her rear, good tail length, set & carriage, carrying just the right amount of weight which showed perfectly her well sprung ribs, has correct arch over her loin, in excellent muscular condition, could not be denied top spot today, just flagged for BOB but think the wind was making her slightly apprehensive.
2ND 3234 - Etsill Swannay (Mrs B E Kurg)
Litter sister to my 2nd in puppy, slightly more mature & showing the same lovely construction, moved so well & lovely head proportions, correct feet, like her sister would like to see her when in full coat as had very little today.

Happy & confident with most lovely expressive eyes, ears close to cheek, in good coat which was harsh on back but looks just about to blow, correctly carried her well set tail, sound mover but had a tendency to level out her top line when moving.

Love that she has nothing exaggerated & was in excellent coat which was well presented, desirable head & neck that flows into her well constructed front, excellent ribbing with slight arch over her loin, handled to perfection to get the best from her, correct in top line & sound well placed hocks, correct tail carriage, well deserved of her title.
2ND 3243 - Cloverwood As You Like It (Mrs J Tinsley)
Very flashy girl who takes your eye, excellent head & neck, has that desirable bright round eyes, correct pendulous ears held close to cheek, excellent strength of jaw, short well developed forelegs, feet pointing forwards, long strong body with correct arch over her loin, neat rounded feet, hocks well let down & good angulated stifles, tapering good length of tail, well presented coat of correct textures.
