DANDIE DINMONT JUDGE DRIFFIELD 17

Dandie Dinmont Terriers
My overall view of the breed today was lack of balance height to length, some being too
long and not having the support of muscle and long rib cage, also narrow skulls without
the required dome and lighter eyes which spoils that melting expression. On the plus side
movement was generally good considering the conditions, temperament and coats were
good.

PD 3)

3 very nice puppies all at different stages of development

1 Denham's Dentgate Mulberry pepper up to size, masculine head in correct proportions, broad skull strong jaw
with good bite, low set fine ears, with gentle expression. Good topline and tailset covered in a crisp pepper coat, he moved soundly if a little unsure, but that will improve with
experience.

2 Perry's Mishahda Nothing Compares at Pogleswood pepper, nicely balanced puppy, masculine head, good bite, head proportions correct with good stop and fine low set ears, dark eye. Strong neck, straight front and flowing topline. He moved well both ways, in between coats at the moment.

3 Bell's Reidswire Lord O'liddesdale.

Junior D 2 1 abs)

1 Cavanagh's German Dandies Zorro at Puddockswell pepper very much in the raw, but I liked him he is balanced, with a good topline, appealing head and expression, good bite, good in shoulder topline and tailset with straight front and good feet, although his nails could be shorter. He moved soundly with a jaunty gait, his owners should seek advice on presenting him better as he could be very smart.

Y Dog 1 Cavanagh's German Dandies Zorro at Puddockswell .

Post Grad D 1)

1 Watson's Dentgate Noel correct sized pepper, good head proportions, good bite, strong neck with deep chest stands straight in front with good feet. He's a little upright in shoulder and flatter in topline, covered in a good quality pepper coat he moved ok.

2 Booth's Borderstone Kingman For Lannia pepper one I have judged before as a puppy and he has come on well, of good size, good bite, kind expression his skull could be broader and more topknot would finish the head, fine ears. Straight in front with strong neck and good topline, moved very well, in short coat is correct colour and texture. RDCC.
