Dandie Dinmont Terriers

I would like to firstly thank the LKA for inviting me to judge & I very much enjoyed it. Overall the quality of the bitches was greater than the dogs. Heads were strong throughout however I was a little disappointed with the quality of movement & conformation in the shoulder in particular. There were however some very good dogs at the show today.

1 BD & BP, Kurg’s Hawkesmill Jefferson at Etsill, fab pepper dog, lovely topline & length, moved very well with power & ground coverage. Good texture to the coat, lovely head & expression. When he fully matures he will be a great dog.

1 Sleight’s Bonnybeck Moonlight Bay, mustard dog with a good coat & course texture, lovely masculine expression;

2 Waitensee’s Charlie Farley at Belapapavo, good strong masculine head & in good coat.

1 RBD, Tinsley’s Ch Cloverwood Royal George, mustard dog with a fantastic head & masculine head, lovely Dandie expression & in a good textured coat.

1 B Moonlight Bay.

1 Milton’s Hawkesmill Jenny for Wilmit, quality pepper bitch, good head with a lovely dark eye & expression, good topline & coat.

1 BB & BOB, Chapman-King’s Inzievar Gold Spark, fabulous mustard bitch, long & low with a superb topline, moves very well covering the ground. Great head with a lovely Dandie expression. Once she matures fully she will be an absolute delight.

1 Russell’s Hawkesmill Ishbelle, nice pepper bitch, correct topline with a lovely feminine head & dark eyes;

2 O’Malley’s Belapapavo Aleka Allamanda, mustard bitch with a good topline, lovely expression & strong head.

OB

1 RBB, Chapman-King, Hislop & Kinsey-Morgan’s Ch Inzievar Sparkling Silver, lovely pepper bitch with a good head & expression. Showed very well. Topline & conformation good & moved very well covering the ground actively forward;

2 Tinsley’s Cloverwood Totally Devoted, very nice pepper bitch, long & low with a good topline, moved well. Good head & expression.

GCB 1 King’s Bonnybeck Delilah Creek, mustard bitch in good coat with texture, strong head with dark eyes. Hope this critic is OK.
