FOX SMOOTH JUDGE BATH 23

Many thanks to Bath Canine Society for inviting me to judge my beloved breed and also to the exhibitors who allowed me to go over their dogs it was a pleasure.

PD

1 Dams & Vickers, Tamedale Nemesis.Lovely tan and white puppy with good head and expression, reachy neck flowing into well laid shoulders tail on top and when settled moved and shown well, unlucky to meet the bitch puppy for best puppy.

PGD

1 Thornton & Bebbingtons, Nysros Draio by Glendrattera. Young upstanding very smart male with all the requirements, Lovely head and ears, his neck flowing into correct shoulders. When he settles on the move will challenge the best.

LD

1 Julian’s Lanyons Prime Suspect. Well up to size handsome tan and white male. Well balanced throughout with correct head and expression moved and performed well for his handler.

2 Care & Mutum’s Spirit du Manor Saint Adrien for Thunderrail. Seen him from the ringside and very smart he is my type all over everything in the right place, disappointed he didn’t put it all in today but he will bounce back I am sure of that.

OD

1 Hughes, Osborne & McKennas’ Ch Forgevale Supremo. Lovely dog who didn’t put a foot wrong today. Great ring presence and when asked moved and showed himself off. Well handled by his owner and no hesitation in awarding him the CC and then BOB.

2 Dams & Vickers, Tamedale Endeavour. Tan and White male of quality also, his head, ears and shoulders all in the right place, he moved well and was expertly handled. He will have his day.

3 Schonenburgs, Hemmingsway Von Ernsthal. Tan and White Male who for me is a bit on the cobby side. He has plenty of bone, his head and expression is fine, as are neck and shoulders, but he stands and looks wide in the front, well handled though.

VB

1 McFaddens, Glendrattera Blythe Spirit. 1 saw this bitch as a youngster and with a better and keener expression would have done really well. Great make and shape moved well and looked good for her age, Best Veteran.

2 Goodleys, Glendraterra Glad Rags. Another nice oldie who has done well over the years. Nice type with correct head and shoulders moved fine and went well for her owner.

PB

1 Hannar, Borovale Lonesome Dove. Very smart 9 mths old puppy white with tan markings, a puppy with real terrier temperament, lovely head and expression and moved with purpose fore and aft, balanced throughout, mustn’t grow much more Best Puppy.

2 Dams & Vickers, Tamedale Aurora. Very heavily marked dark tan puppy correct size with neat ears giving a nice expression. Head, neck and shoulders all fine, moved and shown well.

PGB

1 Dams & Vickers, Tamedale Siskin. I really like this bitch, very femine with lovely head and expression. She is the right size and balanced throughout neck and shoulders correct and when asked moved and showed well. Lovely tan and White RCC.

2 McLaughlan & Roberts, Lanyons Prime Suspect. Slightly longer cast bitch who performed well in the ring, head, ears, neck and shoulders all fine moved truly and freely. Handled well, preferred make and shape of the winner.

LB

1 Hannar, Borovale Kiri. This lovely bitch commands your attention and her ring prescence catches your eye. Excels in head and expression and her body shape is also correct. She moves well and had no hesitation in awarding her the CC she should have her title.

2 Griffiths’ Yoxella Well in Touch. Different type to the winner but still a nice bitch, piercing dark eyes with correct head and expression, neck flowing into well laid shoulders she moved well and was expertly handled.

3 Chipstead Petal.

OB

1 Dams & Vickers, Belfox Thea. Tan and White Bitch of quality balanced throughout with correct ears and neck flowing into correct shoulders, however I would prefer a stronger foreface to complete the picture, she moved and was shown well, very nice bitch.

2 Dams & Vickers, Tamedale Topaz. Tan and White bitch of quality also everything in the right place. Lovely expression, with neck flowing into correct shoulders. Moved and shown well, unlucky to meet the winner today.

3 Griffiths’ & Weiss, Yoxella Whoa Black Betty. Well up to size black and white bitch. Balanced throughout with a nice head and expression. Neck and shoulders fine and she moved true fore and aft. Shown well.
