FOX SMOOTH JUDGE BELFAST 15

SMOOTH FOX TERRIERS

I would like to say thank you to the society for the invitation to judge at the premier show in Ireland. A great venue with super big rings for the exhibitors, the people here are so friendly.

PD.

1. Dams’ Tamedale Mozart. Black and white puppy, short coupled with good bone and tight feet, a balanced head with nice ear carriage and enough neck going into correct shoulders, more spring of rib to come. Shown in tip top condition, a little slack in movement but should come good with a little roadwork, never stopped showing. Best Puppy.

JD and PGD no entries.

LD.

1. Nichols’ Zetamaz Jules Verne at Chantalle. White body and black head, has a nice straight front, good head shape and well placed ears, a good reach of neck and well laid shoulders, level top line with the tail on top, strong quarters showing in true movement, well presented, one which I think will improve with age, showed well today.

1. Grant, Griffiths & Hemmings’ Zlatan I De La Rosa. Dog with good round bone, a straight front and tight feet, a nicely chiselled head with neat ears, a strong neck and good shoulders, good spring of rib going well back into a strong loin, tail on top, muscular quarters and a level top line. Shown in really hard condition, he moved with drive, a real showman. DCC and BOB.

2. Delmar & Lunden’s Swe Ch. Residentsets Stand In. Super head and ears, enough neck and correct shoulders, deep in brisket and well ribbed up, he has good tail carriage with plenty behind, a nice bend of stifle and short hocks, moved with drive and never stopped showing. His weight let him down today, he carried too much around the middle. Res CC.
