FOX SMOOTHJUDGE BELFAST 25

What a fantastic day at the EIRCON centre the venue for Belfast Championship show. This was a fantastic venue and in my opinion equal to any in the UK. I had the privilege to award CC,s in four Terrier breeds. While the numbers in some breeds were lower than expected the quality of dogs was of the highest standard

PD

1 Burrencroft Royal Approval. This was an up to size dog with lots of ring presence. Great head length he had a nice dark eye and perfect mouth. He had a well balanced body to fit his overall profile. Good sound movement worthy of his first place and BP and RDCC

LD

1 Thunderclap Maccoist. A compact dog well marked, Nice head and neck, good body with excellent spring of rib, moved and showed well. OD 1 Kanix Stafford: A great example of the breed, well balanced, super head and neck, a great level top line and a perfect tail set. A look at me attitude in the ring easy to award him 1st and DCC

2 Hr/el/ir/SwissCh Liyunamill Oh Oh Seven, another quality Smooth with a super clean long head with correct bite. He was well up to size with a nice spring of rib. This dog was moving and showing well and on another day sure to achieve top honours,

Special Beginners This is a class I love to see in any of our breeds encouraging new dogs and people into our wonderful sport.

1 Thunderclap Maccoist the Limit dog winner BSB

2 Lizoni Trailblazer. This was a nicely marked dog with a nice head dark eye and correct bite. For me she will improve with a lot more ring craft.

PB

1 Finteric Foxy Lady. A super young bitch, she had a nice feminine head good level top line and good body for a puppy. Nicely marked. Showing well even with the PA system

PGB

1 Tamedale Madonna at Ticknock A well balanced bitch with a femine head with good length and correct bite. She had a compact body and moved well

2 :Tynefox Vinho Verde A fine bitch with a good profile. She needs a little more bone, super fine head with a good length. She will benefit from more experience in the show ring.

OB

This was a class of super quality, predominately all white bitches with black head markings and all showing and moving well.

1 Ch Kanix Quickstep (Also BOB winner and Group 2) She was an eye catching bitch in the lineup with great angles front and rear. This afforded her great ring presence and ability to cover the ring with ease. This bitch had super compact body with good spring of rib and a lady who liked to show. CC and BOB

2 Treson Ch Du Manoir Saint Adrien. This was another bitch who liked to show herself. Nice lean feminine head and a good reach of neck. She had correct lay back in shoulder with a lovely level topline. She is one that will have her day in the showring. RCC 3/4 placed bitches Lizoni Hoochie Coochie and Hr/Bel Ch Llyunamill Domino Dancing were again nice examples of the breed, nicely presented. They just needed a little more time to settle and show off their finer points.

VB

1 Lorecon White with Fright from Yoxella. This was a bitch in good condition for her age, she showed well with good ring presence BV
