FOX SMOOTH BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL 13 Judge(s): MR SEAN DELMAR FOX SMOOTH JUDGE BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL 13 Smooth Fox Terriers PD (1) 1 Harris’ Canequiss Harry Wales at Tamarwahy, ears too big & skull too strong spoiling the expression, excellent front, a little high in shoulder, excellent firm level topline & good tailset. Not enough extension in front movement. PGD (2) 1 Stahle & Nichols’ Dobelands Licence To Thrill, nice balanced head with good small eyes, short back, good front with nice body shape. Excellent tailset but a little too straight behind; 2 Clifford’s Migley Llywelyn, too strong in the skull, however good expression, high in shoulder & too deep & strong in body, I would like him shorter in the loin & he was very short stepping in front movement. LD (4) 1 Thornton & Bebbington’s Glendraterra Humfri Bogart, short square well filled body with good rear & sharp expression, firm topline & a little strong in the front, very energetic. RCC; 2 Baker’s Tuskenraider Blaze Of Glory, would like a more filled foreface, excellent front & good firm topline, I would like the tailset a little higher; 3 Dowsett’s Bonefide Bow Tie at Sufredon. OD (3) 1 Feltham & Wilson’s Ch Lizoni Cadellins Romance, overall lovely outline, good head shape with strong well filled foreface, correct level topline with good tailset & strong well angled hindquarters, moved cleanly. CC & BOB; 2 Morris’ Sanamaris Seventy Seven, nice traditional type with small alert eyes & ears giving good expression, shoulders standing a little away from the body, good topline, good tailset but a little straight behind. VD (1) 1 Chalker’s Cario Dixi Moy, nice head, well filled under the eyes, good firm topline with good spring of rib, much too weak in the rear. PB (3) 1 Griffiths’ Zandra De La Rosa at Yoxella, beautiful shape & proportions, not the longest head but balanced, small dark eye, excellent front, short firm back, excellent bone & great hindquarters, everything where it should be with excellent construction. Just needs training. CC & BP; 2 Brookes’ Zetamaz Talk Of The Town, over refined in type with the topline not level enough, excellent front but I would like a higher tailset; 3 Marson’s Yoxella Word For Word from Chipstead. PGB (2) 1 Adshead’s Saredon Victorias Girl, forehead falling away a little between the ears, excellent front & ideal body shape, a little straight behind. Needs more bone; 2 Clifford’s Rockenhart Molly with Migley, too strong in the skull & I would like more shape in the ribs, too long in the loin. Nice mover. LB (3) 1 Crouch’s Glendraterra Lady Gaga among Oaxaca, nice short bodied dog with good shape, tailset & well made hindquarters. Would like stronger feet & she is a little soft in expression. RCC; 2 Anderson & Watt’s Del Zarzoso Bad Romance, good head proportions, too wide in front, good body shape but the coat was in poor condition, moved too wide in front; 3 Rogers’ Falkmere's First Impression. OB (3) 1 Brookes’ Dobelands Hot Totty at Zetamaz, short well filled body with good shape & outline, small dark eye, nice mover, I would like more animation; 2 Anderson, Watt & Smith’s Am Ch Absolutely Sinful, similar in type to 1 but with excellent expression. I would like the chest a little deeper & she moved a little close behind & wide in front; 3 Dams’ Bel Ch Belfox Fantasy. VB (1) 1 Chalker’s Rio’s Sparkling Snowflake, I would like the ears sharper, excellent front with good shape in the body. The topline rises towards the rear & she is weak in the hindquarters.
