FOX SMOOTH BORDER UNION 25 Judge: Mrs G Griffiths (Starland) FOX SMOOTH JUDGE BORDER UNION 25 Thank yous, firstly to the society for their invitation to judge the breed, great hospitality as always. To my 2 stewards Anna and Joan for keeping things running efficiently and being very good company! Exhibitors for your lovely entry and accepting my decisions sportingly. PD (1) 1. Anderson and Watts Nisyros Galliano, grand youngster of 10mths, lovely head of good length, clean and a flat skull. Bite is good and has a small dark eye. Used his ears well giving good expression. Short strong back with plenty behind his well carried tail, nice front and shoulders, moved well when settled. A lovely balanced outline, has all the time in the world to come together, good luck with him. Best puppy in breed. JD (1) 1. Wilberg and Bradley Jenkins Kanix Stafford (AI). 14 mths dark tan &white, a punishing head with small dark eye, correct bite and strong jaw. Keen expression and well placed ears. Lovely front, into good shoulders, short backed, tail on top with lots behind it, moved well, a very well schooled dog, presented in good order, needs a little more time to mature and fill out. Res cc. 1. Henderson Thunderclap Mccoist At Finleric, heavily marked tan and white dog of a slightly heavier build, however he is of lovely type. Has a good head, nice dark eye, mouth good and used his ears to advantage. Short and strong backed, plenty behind, moved positively and handled well. GD (1) 1 Thunderclap Mccoist At Finleric. Best of heads, clean flat skull with small dark eyes, giving a lovely expression, mouth good, a clean neck fitting into best of shoulders, short backed, plenty behind, moved with purpose, covering ground well, plenty of bone and nice tight feet. Couldn’t deny him the CC and BOB, which im told later made him up. Made my day! 2. Thornton, Breton, Bebbington, Anderson and Watts, Umberto Tozzi Du Manior Saint Adrien, 17 mths dog. Tullys Nisyros Glitterati At Fincham, another from this litter, she too is of nice type, a little bigger than her sister, head is good, dark eye and good bite, bit reluctant to use her ears, but given the noise in the tent it was understandable.
