FOX SMOOTH JUDGE BOURNEMOUTH 22

Only a small entry with a couple of absentees and a shame that one bitch missed her class due to not hearing any judging announcements but thankfully the one entry present was a real ”good-un”.

OD (1,0)

1. Wilberg’s Ch Kanix Quintus. Top quality, tan headed white male who is so well made and fits the standard to a tee. Alert, quick of movement, keen of expression, standing like a well made, short backed hunter. Good length of head, moderately narrow, flat skull, strong jaw, round, dark eyes full of life and intelligence. Ears are well set and used constantly but tabs could be a touch neater. Good length of neck which is clean and flows smoothly into the shoulder which is well laid and has the correct upperarm. Straight forelegs with round bone and small, neat feet. Good depth of chest, short level back and tail bang on top. Super backend, muscular with correct turn of stifle, good length of thigh and well let down hocks. Beautifully presented and handled by a master, in flat, smooth, dense coat of the correct texture. Fabulous on the move, with that breed specific clockwork movement, forelegs straight and swinging forward with those low set hocks driving the quarters. An example of perfect balance and a great outline, full of type and great character and temperament, he is one smart dog. It was a pleasure to award him BOB and then watch him put on another grand performance in the group and see his virtues recognised by Terrier specialist, David Winsley with G3. Congratulations.
