I would like to thank the Crufts Committee for inviting me to judge Smooth Fox Terriers at this prestigious show and the exhibitors who entered their dogs for my honest opinion. I would also like to thank my two stewards Shirley Hockenhall and Joe Smith for their assistance in keeping everything flowing well.

VD (1)

1 Osbourne's Forgevale Sun King. Dog up to size, good coat and condition, good head, eye, ear, body and bone, nice outline.

PD (1)

1 Turley's Llyunamill Black Tie Affair. Up to size, good coat and condition, good head, tight feet, bone ok for size, well presented.

JD (4, 1)

1 Moore's Wild Thing At Eskwyre. Good head, eye and ear, good in outline, good coat and condition, moved ok. 2 Vickers' Born To Run At Eskwyre. Good make and shape, good bone and tight feet, good coat and condition. 3 Ashley's Borovale Bruce. Immature, will improve with age.

PGD (8, 1)

1 Breton's Milou Junior Du Manoir Saint Adrien. Good head, eye, ears need to settle, long neck into good shoulders, short back, tail on top, pleasing make and shape in good coat and condition, moved ok.

2 Mullan's Micky Du Manoir Saint Adrien At Tamodan (Imp). Preferred the head of one, this one more settled in ear, good bone, make and shape, good outline, moved okay, presented in good coat and condition.

3 Brookes' Snugglewood Meifisto Op Zetamaz.

LD (10, 1)

1 Rundle & Williams' Sidewater Some Buddy. Lovely long fine head, well set ears making a pleasing expression, long neck, short back with tail on top, good bone, nice condition, moved well.

2 Schoneberg's Fast Forward Vom Ernstthal. Head and eye ok, preferred head and ears of first, coat and condition very good, nice make and shape.

3 Dams' Tamedale Caruso. Long neck, short back, nice outline.

OD (13, 2)

1 Schoneberg's Absolutely Signature. Lovely long lean head, nice dark eye, well set ears making a pleasing expression, long neck, short back with tail on top, ample bone, shown in good coat and condition, moved well. Pleased to award him the Dog CC. & BOB.

2 Korozs Papp's Agria Zip Code. I have admired this dog from the ringside and pleased the owners gave me the opportunity to judge him. I agree with all that has been written about him, good head, make and shape, movement, coat and condition, just unlucky to meet first today. Res Dog CC.

3 Lizarraga's Ch Abadene Black Hunter. Another good dog, long fine head, dark eye, well set ears, long neck, short back, tail on top, good coat and condition, moved ok, unfortunate to meet first and second.

GCD (1)

1 Kettle's Equifox Perfect Pickle. Well presented, in good coat and condition, enjoyed his day out.

VB (4)

1 Brookes' Ch Dobelands Hot Totty At Zetamaz ShCM. 8 year old, good bitch with good head, eye and ears, in good coat and condition, moved ok. Best Veteran.

2 O'Connor's Chezatree Days Of Grace At Nisyros. Looked good for age, shown in good condition.

3 Rogers' Falkmere's First Impression ShCM. Looking good for age, presented in good coat and condition.

PB (2)

1 Richardson's Lizoni Shadows Legacy. Good head and ears, would have preferred shorter back. BP.

2 Davison's Lizoni Hot To Trot. Well presented, litter sister to one, same comments apply, pity about the tail.

JB (5)

1 Hughes & Butcher's Forgevale Quintessence. Classy head, dark eye, well set ears making a pleasing expression, good neck and shoulders, short back with tail on top. Well presented, moved ok, liked her overall size.

2 Smith's Humeston Macklntosh. Another good bitch with a good head, eye and ears, good body and bone. Moved ok.

3 Hannar's Borovale Georgia. Very pleasing bitch, needs more body which I hope she will gain with maturity.

PGB (10, 2)

1 Goodley's Glendraterra Glad Rags. Pleasing head, dark eye, well placed ears making a pleasing expression, good body shape, tail well set, ample bone, moved ok, liked her size.

2 Breton's Mona Lysa Du Manoir Saint Adrien. Another pleasing Smooth from this kennel, good head, body, make and shape, unfortunate to meet first.

3 Merveille's Belfox Olive. Good head, eye, ears make and shape, presented in good coat and condition.

LB (10)

1 Thornton & Bebbington's Glendraterra Liberty Belle. Long lean head, dark eye, well set ears giving a pleasing expression, best of neck and shoulders, short back, tail set on, lovely coat and condition, moved well. Res. Bitch CC.

2 Vickers' She The One At Eskwyre. Another quality bitch, good in eye and ear, long neck, short back, tail on top, moved well, in lovely coat and condition, preferred the head of first.

3 Schoneberg's Wanda VD Schoenen Bergen. Another good bitch, good in head, body and size, moves ok, needs more time to fully mature.

OB (9, 1)

1 Nyman, Salonen & Tammiala-Salonen's Fi/Se Ch Texforrier Worth It. Caught my eye on entering the ring, long lean head, dark eye, well placed ears giving the right expression, long neck, good shoulder, short back, well set tail giving a pleasing outline, moved well, shown in good coat and condition. Pleased to award her the Bitch CC.

2 Neil & Tricquenaux's Bel Ch Belfox Nectarine. Good head, eye and ear set giving a good expression, nice body, coat and condition, moved ok, preferred first on the day.

3 Dams' Ch Tameale Finesse. Liked make and shape, shown in good cot and condition.
