FOX SMOOTH JUDGE CRUFTS 22
First of all I would like to thank the Crufts Committee for my invitation to judge my breed for the second
time!. My thanks to the exhibitors for their entries and my winners who I was more than delighted with and
were good examples of our breed. Finally last but not least my two stewards Mrs Barbara Garland and Mr
P Schevenels who ensured that the ring ran so efficiently and made my job so much easier. Thank you.
Veteran Dog: (3 Entries 1 abs)
1. Azpiazu’s CH CHELINES CHARLY BROWN - B/w 9 years old, what a good example of the breed.
Shown in lovely condition, ideal size, with good head and expression well carried ears, short compact body
with a level topline and good set on. Well angulated hindquarters which he used well on the move. Good
bone and feet. Moved and showed very well. Best Veteran.
2. Skaarup’s INT/DK/POL/CZCK/SUCH/NOCH CH EGELYKKE NICCO - B/w 9 years old - Shown in
good coat and condition, slightly bigger dog but not as compact as winner, with pleasing head, good topline,
would like to see more bone but has good feet.
Puppy Dog - No Entries
Junior Dog - (1 Entry 1 abs)
1. Arustamyan’s CHIPSTEAD PUZZLE OF LORECON - B/w - up to size, great head with small dark
eye and well placed ears. Good front, level topline, well angulated hindquarters and good set on. Would
like to see more body but this should come with maturity. Full of terrier exuberance but settled on the move.
Shown in good coat and moved well.
Post Graduate Dog (2 Entries)
1. Schoneberg’s SCHNEEMANN VON DEN SCHOENEN BERGEN - B/w What a lovely quality dog.
Well balanced with good head and expression. Great neck and shoulders, short backed with level top line,
good set on and well muscled hindquarters with good bone and feet. Moved and showed very well.
Pleased to award him the Dog CC.
2. Sibbald & Tyler Sibbald’s TAMODAN TAKE TWO - B/w Shown in good condition with pleasing head
but unfortunately today not using his ears. Moved streadly would prefer better front movement.
Limit Dog (4 Entries)
1. Grant & Hemmings’ TICKNOCK TRIGGER HAPPY - Stylish b/w not always using his ears but did
enought to win this class. Good head, neck and shoulder, level topline and a well set tail, and moved well
on a loose lead.
2. Hughes & Osborne’s FORGEVALE TOP GUN - T/w of good size and shown in lovely condition.
Pleasing head and expression but would like a smaller eye. Good body with a level topline and a well set
tail. Moved soundly and showed okay.
3. Marston’s TAMEDALE PRESIDENT WITH CHIPSTEAD - T/w. Nice type of dog would like more animation and spirit. Pleasing head with well placed ears, good neck and shoulder. Steady shower.
Open Dog (9 Entries 1 abs)
1. Breton’s OKAY DU MANOIR SAINT ADRIEN - Black & white quality dog with good head well
placed ears, small eye giving that correct terrier expression. Good neck and shoulder but would like to see
a stronger topline although he is short in back. Strong hindquarters which he used well on the move. I was
pleased to award him the Reserve CC.
2. Wilberg’s CH KANIX QUINTUS - A well known winner who is beautifully presented and shown by his
handler but for me I would like more size and bone also a better expression. He demands attention and
cannot be ignored.
3. Hughes & Osborne’s CH FORGEVALE SUPREMO - Tan & white and a worthy champion who was
well presented and in good coat and condition. Moved and showed well.
Good Citizen Dog (1Entry 1 abs)

1. Griffiths’ YOXELLA WELL IN TOUCH - B/w 9 month old puppy bitch who I liked a lot. She has a
pretty head with good ears, well placed shoulder and strong hindquarters, good legs and feet and moved
well for her handler. In good coat and condition as one expects from this owner. Best Puppy
2. Marston’s CHIPSTEAD SNOWFLAKE - T/w 9 months - pretty puppy with good head and nice expression, good bone and feet. Lighter in body than winner but when more mature I am sure she will complete the picture. Moved and showed well when settled.

well on the move. In good coat and condition, moved and showed extremely well.
2. Griffiths & Weiss’ YOXELLA WHOA BLACK BETTY - B/w another very nice young bitch
I see litter sister to the Puppy winner. Lovely head and expression, just preferred the overall balance of
the winner. Again shown in good coat and condition.
3. Morris’ SANAMARIS SERENA - Nearly all white with tan ear. Good type but would prefer a more
femine head. Shown in good condition and moved soundly.

never stopped showing. A credit to her handler who presented her in tip top condition. Bitch CC and

2. Grenaae’s DK.JUCH KAJSENBORG FOX OFF B/w Another very nice balanced quality bitch with
