FOX SMOOTH JUDGE CRUFTS 23

Many thanks to the Crufts committee for giving me the honour of judging my breed at their flagship show, also a big thanks to my two hard working stewards for their assistance and support. The biggest thanks goes to all the exhibitors who entered their dogs under me, coming from home and abroad. It was a privilege to judge them.

VD (2,0):

1. Broom’s Ch Oaxaca Del Boy with Roxway. 9 year old dog with good head. Keen dark eye, good topline and neat feet. Showed and presented well by exhibitor.

2. Verdier Dufour’s Lord iV de Malvau. 8 year old dog with good balance, looking good on the stand, typical head, good harsh coat. Preferred movement of first.

PD (3,0):

1. Anderson & Watt’s Nisyros Doradus. Promising t/w puppy, lovely head & ears with keen expression. Great reach of neck falling into well placed shoulders, short back, level topline. Moved and showed out of his skin. Pleased to award him Best Puppy.

2. Howes’ Kenzduo Happy. Good headed puppy, keen eye and tidy ears which the dog used well. This puppy moved and showed well, a close second, well balanced dog.

3. Smith’s Tamedale Explorer. This puppy looked good on the stand, nice outline and size. Longer cast than first two, preferred heads of the two above.

JD (3,0):

1. Turley’s Llyunamill Oh Oh Seven. B/w, good topline, well balanced, good head & ears, moving with drive. Deserved to win this class, showing all the time.

2. Nichols’ Chantalle’s Ink Spot. Lightly marked b/w, nice type who was well presented. Didn’t move as well as 1. 3. Care & Mutum’s Spirit du Manoir Saint Adrien for Thunderail. Really nice t/w dog. Great head & ears with good reach of neck falling into well set shoulders. Short coupled with good topline. Moved freely and correctly in a circle but let himself down on the individual move.
