FOX SMOOTH JUDGE DARLINGTON 24

PD (1)

1 Thornton, Breton & Anderson’s Umberto Tozzi Du Manoir Saint Adrien ( IMP FRA ). Cracking puppy, so well balanced for his age and has the cleanest of outlines. Excellent head piece, dark expressive eyes and neat well set ears. Good reach of neck set in well placed shoulders. Short backed with good depth of chest along with well developed hindquarters and a good tailset with plenty behind. Moved well on a good stride, BPD, BP, Res.CC, pleased to see him go G3 in the Puppy Group. Definitely one for the future.

JD (1)

1 Henderson’s Thunderclap MacCoist at Finleric. Typy youngster of good make and shape. Balanced clean cut head of pleasing length with a good eye and expression. Stands on good legs and feet. Firm topline that he holds on the move, shapely body and good width of quarters with well bent stifles. Sound positive mover.

LD (2)

1 Brookes Zetamaz Stand And Deliver. Well made dog with a very typical outlook. Masculine head, flat skulled, neat ears and a good dark eye and keen expression. Very clean over his neck and shoulders. Good depth of chest, very well muscled throughout, strong hindquarters and well set on tail. Moved well fore and aft with good reach and drive.

2 Nichols Chantalle’s Ink Spot. Pleasing size of good strength and substance throughout but shows no sign of coarseness. Good length of head with a balanced outlook. Straight front with good legs and neat feet. Pleasing depth, well ribbed along with a strong loin and firm quarters. Moved on a decent stride but could not match the positive action of the winner on the day.

OD (2,1)

1 Wilburg’s Kanix Quintus. Mature dog who is now in his prime. Smart appearance and was on his toes at all times, very much a showman. Liked his size, a lot of dog in a small space but is not overdone in anyway. Pleasing head piece with a small and expressive eye. Excellent legs and feet, good depth but not too wide, short backed with a firm topline, powerful hindquarters and well let down hocks. Soundest of movers who really covers the ground, CC.

PB (1)

1 Hannar’s Borovale Jazzmin. Typy youngster who presents a very clean and balanced outline. Good head shape with a bight eye and alert expression. Pleasing front assembly, Strong back and a good tailset with plenty behind. Well angulated quarters. Presented on the day in good coat. Moved well, BPB.

JB (2)

1 Rougvie’s Thunderclap MacFaddan to Turflindie. Pleasing sort who is well built throughout. Feminine head of good proportions. Strong neck, good legs and feet, short backed and a level topline that she keeps on the move. Good width of hindquarters and a pleasing bend of stifle. Sound fore and aft. 2 Davison’s Tynefox Villa Maria. Another of good size with the required strength and substance. Pleasing head, balanced with a sharp eye and expression. Good reach of neck set in well placed shoulders, deep chest but not to broad as the standard asks for. Not the strength in hindquarters of the winner.

PGB (2)

1 Vickers & Dam’s Tamedale Aurora. Liked her size and shape and was on her toes at all times, definitely up for the job in hand. Quality bone throughout. Typical in head with a good eye and expression. Well made front assembly, well ribbed, strong loin and good width of quarters. Moved on a pleasing stride.

2 Rougvie’s Thunderclap MacCauley to Turflindie .Plenty to like about this one as she has many positive breed attributes. Best of heads, dark eye, keen expression and neat well placed ears. Very clean over her neck and shoulders. Firm topline and well angulated hindquarters.. Not as settled on the move as the winner on the day.

LB (5,2)

1 Vickers & Dam’s Tamedale Showtime. Tidy bitch of very good make and shape and is very well built throughout. Clean cut head, good strength of jaw and the best of expressions. Good reach of neck and well laid back shoulders. Short backed and a good tailset and carriage along with well rounded quarters. As always from this kennel put down in tip top coat and condition. Alert on the move holding a good shape, Res.CC.

2 Brookes Zetamaz Drama Queen. A very typy bitch who presents a clean and balanced outline both stood and on the move. Well proportioned head with a pleasing eye and expression. Best of front assemblies standing on good legs and feet. Shapely body, well set tail and good width of hindquarters. Moved well.

3 Davison’s Tynefox La Vida Loca.

OB (2)

1 Wilberg’s Ch.Kanix Quickstep. One I have admired from the ringside and it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to get my hands on. Quality throughout and fits the standard well, ‘standing like a short-backed hunter covering a lot of ground’. Balanced head with a feminine outlook but has the required strength. Small dark eyes and the brightest of expressions. Scores in front assembly. Firm body, strong firm back and a good tailset and carriage. A very sound and positive mover, CC & BOB. Pleased to see her G3 in a very competitive Terrier Group.

2 Vickers & Dam’s Tamedale Topaz. Liked her size, shape and overall balance. Workmanlike with good strength throughout and that lively and active appearance the standard asks for. Pleasing head piece with a good eye and expression along with well set ears. Strong neck set in well placed shoulders, level topline and a good bend of stifle. Moved on a good stride.
