FOX SMOOTH EAST OF ENGLAND 23 Judge: Mrs F M Chapman-King FOX SMOOTH JUDGE EAST OF ENGLAND 23 PD (3,1) 1 Kanix Roger (Wilberg) Quality youngster, typical all through with very good head and dark expressive eye. Lovely front and bone, pleasing neck and run in to clean shoulder, short back, well set on, well made quarters. In excellent coat, moving sound all ways. Confident and promising. BP & Puppy Gp 2. 2 Tamedale Socrates (Bluff) Bigger all over, balanced head and good eye. Rather long in back, good quarters. Moved fairly well. Coat could be better. 1 Chantalle’s Ink Blot (Nichols) Balanced clean flat head, fair neck, well made body, could have shorter back, good bone and feet. Well set on. Up to size. Not moving well today. 1 Ch Kanix Quintus (Wilberg) Quality dog with plenty of presence and breed type. Balanced head, flat skull, clean cheeks with correct chiselling, dark keen eye. Reachy neck, excellent forehand and gun barrel front, neat feet. Good ribbing not overdone, level topline, short coupled well set on. Excellent coat well presented, handled to advantage. Sound all ways. BD. 2 Hemmingway vom Ernstthal (Schoneberg) Typical, very good head, neat ears, keen dark expressive eye. Good reach of neck, short coupled, well made quarters used on the move, well set on, level topline. Good bone. Could not match the front of 1. Shown in good coat and order and handled to advantage. Moved out well on go around and going. RBD. 3 Zetamac I’m Your Man (Brookes) 1 Ch Zetamac Gerard Depardieu JW ShCM ShCEx VW (Brookes) Smart veteran with a good head and dark sparkling eyes, giving typical keen expression. Good front and clean shoulder, level topline, well made quarters. Overall balanced picture and in good coat and order. Moved out very well. BV & Veteran Gp 3. 1 Tamedale Socrates (Bluff) Seen. PB (1) 1 Kanix Rosemarie (Wilberg) Well balanced. Promising feminine puppy with good head, dark expressive eyes, good neck and front, well laid shoulder, short backed, level topline, well set on. In good coat and condition. Showed very well. Would like a touch more of her to finish the picture. She has time on her side. 1 Yoxella Well in Touch (Griffiths) Of pleasing breed type. Feminine and clean chiselled head of good length, dark sparkling eyes, neat ears used well, all giving the desired expression. Straight front, good bone and feet. Clean neck and shoulder, deep chest without coarseness. Could be shorter in back, but topline level and well set on. Alert and lively and sound all ways, using her quarters on the move. Not in full coat today, but texture good. Res BB. 2 Zetamaz Maraschino (Brookes) Another good one, pleasing head, eye and expression. Good front and clean shoulder, good bone and feet, good depth and spring of rib, short coupled and good quarters. Moved well enough on go around, not moving well today going away. 1 Ch Kanix Quickstep (Wilberg) Smart and ultra feminine, this classy bitch sets the standard. Combining substance and quality, she presents a perfectly balanced picture standing and moving, with no exaggeration. Full of breed type with a lovely headpiece, flat skull, exquisite expression, neat ears, used to advantage, strong foreface well chiselled. Elegant neck, gun barrel front, good bone, best of feet. Clean cut shoulder, short back, strong loin, well ribbed, well set on, good hind angulation and short hocks used on the move, and plenty behind the tail. Her movement is ground covering, sound and accurate all ways. Her personality and terrier character finishes the picture. Expertly handled to show off her many virtues. BB, BOB & Group 3. 2 Yoxella Whoa Black Betty (Griffiths & Weiss) Taller bitch with a pleasing head, good ears and expression, straight front, good bone, legs and feet, well balanced, level topline, good quarters and well set on. Moved out well. 3 Zetamac Chasing Rainbows at Fincham (Tully)
