FOX SMOOTH JUDGE MANCHESTER 13

Smooth Fox Terriers

PD (0).

JD (1)

1 Thornton & Bebbington’s Glendraterra Humfri Bogart, short coupled tan marked dog, good bone, legs & feet, lovely reach of neck, good spring of rib, level topline & tail on top. Showed well & in good nick. I was disappointed with his hind movement. RCC.

PGD (4)

1 Dowsett’s Bonefide Bow Tie at Sufredon, attractive b/w dog with good head, good bone, legs & feet, in good coat & well presented. If only he was more assertive I am sure this dog would do well;

2 Cook’s Borovale Jester, tan marked dog in good coat & condition. He lacks substance all through & his movement let him down.

LD (1)

1 Feltham & Wilson’s Lizoni Cadellins Romance, nicely made b/w dog in lovely coat & condition, well chiselled head with dark eye & well placed ears, well off for bone & tight feet. Moved very well on a loose lead & altogether made an attractive picture. CC & BOB.

OD (2)A.

VD (1)

1 Chalker’s Carlo Dixie Moy, white bodied, split faced dog of 8 years, good head & expression, good bone, legs & feet. Movement very poor.

PB (1) A.

JB (4)

1 Brookes’ Zetamax Leather And Lace, elegant black marked bitch, good head & ear, eye could be smaller. Level topline, good bone, legs & feet. Moved & showed OK;

2 Dolman’s Chipstead Treasure at Zebec, tan marked bitch with reasonable head but heavy ears. Good bone & substance. Appeared rather straight in stifle when on the table but surprisingly moved fairly well.

PGB (2)

1 Mullan’s Dobelands Angel Delight at Tamodon, black headed bitch, good eye but heavy ears. Good spring of rib, level topline, in good coat & condition, showed well. More bend of stifle would improve hind movement.

LB (4)

1 Crouch’s Glendraterra Lady Gaga among Oaxaca, well made bitch, good head, ear & eye, nice reach of neck & level topline, good bone, legs & feet, moved & showed well. RCC;

2 Darby’s Dobelands Candy Stripes of Classicway, similar in type to 1 with much the same attributes. Lean head & used her ears well, in good coat & condition, showed well. Just preferred 1’s movement;

3 Brookes’ Yoxella Wear It Well for Zetamax.

OB (4)

1 Jones & Smith’s Darlaur Dyma Fi, beautifully presented tan headed bitch of quality, lovely head & expression, good reach of neck, excellent spring of rib, level topline & tailset, has plenty behind her tail. Lovely bone, legs & feet, showed very well. Lost out in the challenge on her front movement. CC;

2 Brookes’ Dobelands Hot Totty at Zetamax, nearly all white bitch of some elegance, good head, ear & eye, good body & quarters, level topline, in great condition, moved OK;

3 Smith’s Thunderclap Macfarlane.

VB (1)

1 Chalker’s Rio’s Sparkling Snowflake, 7 years & in lovely condition, lean head, dark eye & well placed ears, good bone, legs & feet, showed well.
