FOX SMOOTH JUDGE MIDLAND COUNTIES 22

My thanks to the committee of Midland Counties for the invitation to judge, the hospitality on the day, to my two wonderful Stewards who kept an orderly and efficient ring, and to all the exhibitors who showed their Fox Terriers.

Puppy Dog (2:1)

1st D&I Anderson & Watt’s - Nisyros Doradus - just six months, Smart dog pup, clean head & front, good bone, level topline, good tailset. in the challenge for best smooth puppy I preferred the ears of his litter sister.

Junior Dog (1:0)

1st AJ & M Brookes – Zetamaz I’m your Man-Nice - clean head of good length and proportion, clean front, level topline, good rear angles, good bend of stifle and well-muscled throughout. This dog has a lot of scope and I think if he was moved a little faster it would show his reach and drive to advantage. Best Dog & BOS in Breed

Post Graduate (1:1)

Open Dog(4:3)

1st AJ & M Brookes – Zetamaz Rainbow Quest - Smart Dog, clean head with good ears nice outline and well-muscled throughout – Reserve Best Dog

Puppy Bitch(2:1)

1st D&I Anderson & Watt’s - Nisyros Nebula – Pretty puppy of very nice proportions, good head and expression with nice ears, good neck and shoulders level topline, good tailset with plenty behind. she was unsettled on the move which is forgiveable given her young age and overall quality. Best Puppy in Breed.

Junior Bitch (3:0)

1st J&E Hannar’s - Bokma Kirie at Borovale – Lovely make and shape, good head and ears, pleasing expression, clean front, level topline, a picture stood, rear movement could be more positive

2nd A. Kettle’s - Foxindean Radio Ga-Ga – Very Dark overall, but pleasing head & ears, clean front, well coupled, preferred her front and topline to 3rd

3rd Griffiths Yoxella Well in Touch

Post Graduate Bitch (2:1)

1st AJ & M Brookes – Zetamaz Maraschino- Pretty bitch with a good head piece and well set ears, nice front and good feet, level topline and good tailset, sound on the move although she had a lot of lift at the front. Showed well

Open Bitch (6:1)

1st BOB & Terrier Group 3, K. Wilberg’s - Ch. Kanix Quickstep – Quality all through. Compact and short coupled. Clean Head, well set ears used to advantage, long neck leading to well laid shoulders, strong level topline Super tailset and plenty behind good stifle bend, excellent feet. She moves soundly with reach, drive and terrier purpose. I was delighted she placed Group 3in the Terrier group.

2nd & RBB - J & H Griffiths and Weiss – Yoxella Whoa Black Betty – Super quality bitch clean head Super front long neck and well laid shoulder good rear angles, good feet, moved and showed well.

3rd I Martin’s Tamedale Fenella
