FOX SMOOTH NATIONAL TERRIER 18 Judge: Mr R Gregg BEST OF BREED : 536 SMITH & D GABEL Mr J Am Ch Absolutely Signature FOX SMOOTH JUDGE NATIONAL TERRIER 18 A pleasure to judge this breed, I found good overall quality with the majority of exhibits being balanced and sound with no severe detrimental issues. Small dark eyes prevailed but I do not think that forefaces have the length and strength of the past. Bend of stifle is better but some require a little more. 1 Osbourne & McKenna's Forgevale Quadrille. Good head and neck into level top with good set on, short back with nice rib, moved well front and rear. 1 Brooks' Zetamaz Carbon Copy. Good head, nice well ribbed body, level top, high tail with adequate stifle. Neck just spoilt the balance. Best Puppy. 1 McGhie's Born To Run At Eskwyre. Well proportioned with pleasant forehand, well laid shoulder showing off neck, topline and tailset, a little straight in rear leg. 2 Brooks' Snugglewood Mefisto Op Zetamaz. Head, ear, eye all good, nice neck, top and tail, front just overdone. 3 Moore's Wild Thing At Eskwyre. 1 Anderson & Watt's Nisyros Stormbound At Humeston. Good moving dog showing balance and proportion at all times, a little refinement to front would help. 2 Dams' Tamedale Caruso. Short back with good rib, neck, topline and set on nice head. Would prefer little more leg. 3 Jullian's Lanyons Smash And Grab. 1 Smith & Gabel's Am Ch Absolutely Signature. Top quality dog with ring presence. Beautifully balanced and proportioned with excellent refined front, best head and well ribbed short body, good layback accentuating neck, topline and tail set. Finishing with a good bend of stifle to produce that well made hunter image. CC and BOB. 2 Broom's Ch Oaxaca Del Boy With Roxway. Quality dog excels in front and proportions of size, length of leg, depth of body. good neck and short back with high set on makes him stand out. Res CC. 3 Thornton, Booth, Malzoni, Bebbington & Corish's Am Gr Ch J'Cobe Broxden Shark Dressed Man. 1 Brooks' Zetamaz Covergirl. Good front, level top with high set tail and developing quarters. 1 Hannar's Borovale Georgia. Good head with nice ear and eye, straight front strong body with well sprung rib, level top and good set on. Just lacking in stifle. Res CC. 2 Osbourne & McKenna's Forgevale Quarrille. 3 Richardson's Lizoni Shadows Legacy. 1 Grant & Hemmings' Lorecon White With Fright From Yoxella. Nice front with good neck into well ribbed body sporting short, level topline with high tail set. Decent rear end. 2 Mullan's Glendraterra Blythe Spirit. Good foreface with nice eye and ear giving desired expression, Straight front, short level back, high well carried tail. A little more bend of stifle would improve. 3 Jacques' Lady Daisy Of Jacqspot. 1 Hughes & Butcher's Belfox Paris. Short well ribbed body with well balanced neck and good leg. Straight refined front with no hint of excessive width. Head, ear and eye all good. 2 Jones' Dalaur Déjà vu. Good substance throughout, balanced neck and body with short level top, high tail and good rear end, a touch wide in front. 3 Julian Lanyons Crime Of Passion. 1 Davies' L'Magali Du Manoir Saint Adrien Of Mossvalley.
