Thought the quality had dropped since I last judged them, a lot of low set Lakeland ears today, pleased with some of the winners today though & fronts have improved. They will always be my first love.
Again more CC`s & a champions class would be nice & encouraging.

Puppy Dog (3)

1st Thornton & Bebbingtons Glendrattera Humfri Bogart, good well chiselled head, clean front, good round bone like dowling, good shoulders, compact with tail on top, showed non stop, I loved him. Res CC & BP. Had he kept 4 on the floor, may have gone higher, just youth & I liked that bit of spark in him.

2nd Nichols Dobelands Licence to Thrill, nice head, good bone, level toplline, tail on top, in grand order, showed well.

3rd Renshaws Dobelands Rough Justice with Westbank.

Limit Dog (3)

1st Hannars Borovale Brigadier, gave this dog Rec cc as a pup, good head, clean front, compact tail on top, flying & not using his ears today & misbehaving. Maybe less stringing up would help, still a handy dog, in A1 order.

2nd Dowsetts Bonefide Bow Tie at Sufredon, good head, nice bone, level topline, tail on top, would like a bit more body today. In nice coat & condition.

3rd Cooke`s Turflindie Mr Music Master of Terrahawk.

Open Dog (1)

1st Glendrattera Fredi Mercury, upstanding dog, good head & ears, great bone, compact, exceptional tailset & rear in nice order, though coat a little overtrimmed perhaps, a nice dog. CC & BOB.

Puppy Bitch (1)

1st Smiths Thundeclap Macnaughten, good head, best of ears in this breed today (this is how they should & used to be) good bone, compact, tail on top, in good coat & condition, for me she needs to grow, if she does she will do very well.

Limit Bitch (4)

1st Averis & Barkers Saredon Ebony & Ivory, good head, clean front, nice bone, lovely shoulders, tail on top, in A1 coat & body, elegant, would like more lift in her ears. CC.

Open Bitch (1)

1st Rougves Terrahawk Mons Meg, good bone, good outline & angulation, in grand coat & body condition. Well Handled.
