Smooth Fox Terriers

PD (1)

1 Grant, Griffiths & Hemmings’ Zlatan I De La Rosa, absolutely true coming & going & good length of stride in profile. Just needs to firm up in middle piece. Good lay of shoulder & enough rear, tailset bang on top. Really promising puppy who has a smashing outlook too!

JD (1) A.

LD (4)

1 Thornton & Bebbington’s Glendraterra Humfri Bogart, full of himself & a real handful to show! Liked his length & strength of head & powerful foreface, reasonable ears, good neck. A bit too upright in shoulder, but occasionally he showed reach in front. Super body & topline, correct rear, when allowed to move out he really can show excellent movement. Coat a bit rough at the moment;

2 Stahle & Nichols’ Dobelands Licence To Thrill, good dog but slack in backline & not the rear angulation of 1. Better behaved & a really super temperament, lovely head, neat small ears, good neck & depth of chest, tail set well on top, true up & down;

3 Cook’s Borovale Jester.

OD (5)

1 Smith, Jones & Boyes’ Am Ch Absolutely Out Of Sight, elegant yet still a strong dog, good lengthy head, well set eyes of lovely shape & size, fair front & has a touch of forechest. Pins in coming towards, though excellent body, firm topline & well set tail. A touch overdone in rear angulation, but he uses himself very well. Immaculate coat & body condition, super profile mover. He could do a lot for the breed over here. CC, BOB & G4;

2 Thornton, Bebbington & Boon’s Ch Glendraterra Fredi Mercury, similar quite heavily marked masculine dog, strong bone, good behind. Very upright in shoulder & upper arm. Deep chest not too rounded, firm back, moved true. RCC;

3 Hall’s Gosel Ceylonesse.

PB (1)

1 Brookes’ Zetamaz Talk Of The Town, super puppy, correct size, good conformation & bone, compact feet, excellent topline, short back, good behind, really promising puppy all through, moved truly & has some drive behind. CC & BP.

JB (1)

1 Z Talk Of The Town.

LB (2)

Two nice terriers!

1 Anderson & Watt’s Del Zarzoso Bad Romance, good size, pleasing length & strength of head. Ears could be set a little higher. Good neck. Stands wide in front, but moves OK coming towards, well bodied, deep chest, excellent rear, travels well in profile;

2 Ketley & Gash’s Enjakay First Love, better ear carriage & also wide in front & shoulders could be set further back. Dee chest, but over broad in chest. Good topline, short coupled, excellent rear & tailset, moved well in profile.

OB (5)

1 Brookes’ Dobelands Hot Totty at Zetamaz, very true mover & precise coming & going. Standing she pins in. Liked her head & attitude. Ears can be a bit wayward. Excellent hard quarters, well set tail, shows well. RCC;

2 Anderson, Watt & Smith’s Am Ch Absolutely Sinful, thought she would be my winner but couldn’t get her to go properly behind & she was somewhat uncoordinated. Grand type, lovely strong head, ears breaking well, short firm back, tail right on top, good in profile for length of stride;

3 Averis & Savani’s Saredon Ebony And Ivory.
