FOX SMOOTH JUDGE SKC MAY 16

Smooth Fox Terriers

PD (2,1a)

1 Stahle & Nichols’ Chantalle Denis The Menace, confident 6 months puppy who has a well balanced head with good eyes & ears portraying a true expression. Clean front which is nicely angulated, well boned & good feet, level topline, with a good tailset & nicely angulated quarters which are well developed in muscletone for one so young. Moved soundly both fore & aft & really covers the ground when viewed from side profile. BP.

JD (1)

1 Bissett’s Turflindie Mr Dusty Millers with Foyleside, nice size with good bone & substance, his head could be more refined but he has nicely placed eyes & ears. Level topline with a good tailset & nicely angulated quarters. Moved true both fore & aft.

PGD (1) A.

LD (1)

1 Nichols’ Zetamaz Jules Verne at Chantalle, clean headed dog of good proportions, clean lengthy neck into nicely angulated shoulders, well angulated quarters & a good tailset. He was a little erratic on the move which made it difficult to fully assess his movement.

OD (3,1)

1 Schoneberg’s Nero VD Schonen Bergen, well balanced dog of a nice size who has good bone & substance. Typical head which is refined & long without losing his masculinity, true expression emanating from his correctly placed eyes & ears which he uses. Clean lengthy neck into well laid back shoulders, straight well boned forelegs & nice feet. His ribs are well carried back to a short loin & he has a good set-on, nicely angulated quarters which are extremely well developed in muscletone. Presented in great condition & moved soundly both fore & aft & covered the ground from side profile. CC & BOB;

2 Anderson & Watts’ Ch Absolutely Uncensored, clean head of good proportions with correctly placed eyes & ears, good length of neck into a nicely angulated front assembly, level topline a with a well set tail & short coupled. Moved soundly both ways & shown in good order but I preferred the size & masculinity of the winner. RCC.

PB (2)

1 Anderson & Watts’ Nisyros Flight Bound, feminine puppy who is a nice size, clean head with good proportions, small keen eyes which are nicely placed but her ears were a little flighty today. Good front, & short coupled with well set tail & nicely angulated quarters. Moved soundly when settled;

2 Templeton’s Nisyros Zakana at Homeston, similar in size & shape to the winner but is heavier in front & I would prefer her shoulders to be more laid back.

JB (4,1)

1 Davies’ Magali du Manoir Saint Adrien of Mosvalley, ultra feminine classy bitch who is so well balanced with ample bone & substance while retaining her femininity. Beautiful refined head with lovely eyes & ears portraying a typical expression. Clean neck into well laid back shoulders & a good front assembly with straight well boned forelegs & nice feet. Her ribs are carried well back to a short loin & her topline is level with a good tailset, nicely angulated quarters which are well developed in muscletone. Moved true both fore & aft & covers the ground economically when viewed from side profile. Presented in lovely condition. CC;

2 Rougvie’s Turlindie Miss Forsythea, not the quality of the winner, moved true behind & presented in good order; 3 Rougvie’s Turlindie Miss Wisterias.

PGB (2,1)

1 Hannar’s Tamedale Shakira at Borovale, top sized bitch who has a nice outline, typical head & expression, clean neck into well laid back shoulders, level topline & nicely angulated quarters. Moved true both ways but requires more confidence.

LB (4,1)

1 Thornton, Babington & Corish’s Glendraterra Blind Date, feminine bitch of a nice size & lovely outline when viewed from side profile. Clean head of a good length with nicely placed eyes & ears which need more lift to attribute to her expression. Nice length of neck into well placed shoulders, level topline & nicely angulated quarters. Moved soundly both ways although she was a little erratic in the challenge;

2 Vickers’ Tamedale Calypso, lovely type who has a striking outline. Very typical head which is a good length, flat & clean with nicely placed eyes & ears. Elegant neck into a super front assembly as her shoulders are well laid back, has the desired ratio & angulation of upper arm & straight well boned forelegs. Level topline with a good set-on & ribs which are well carried back to a short loin. Her quarters are superbly angulated to match her front assembly & she is well developed in muscletone. She appeared to move soundly both ways but was difficult to assess as she was not happy today & not showing, otherwise she could have won the CC;

3 Templeton’s Nisyros Out Of Control.

OB (1)

1 Savinni’s Starpride Everybody Loves Me, typical well balanced bitch who has a refined head with a typical expression, nice length of neck into a nicely angulated front assembly. Level topline & short coupled with a good tailset. Nicely angulated quarters which are well muscled & she moves soundly both fore & aft & covers the ground effortlessly. Presented in good order. RCC.
