FOX SMOOTH JUDGE SOUTHERN COUNTIES 15

Smooth Fox Terriers

Numerically a very good entry & I thought the quality was also high. BOB looked good in the group where he made the final few, & the puppy was 2nd in puppy group.

PD (3,1a)

1 Brookes’ Zetamaz Gerard Depardieu, smart pup with edge on maturity of body. Has a masculine head, dark eyes. Well set ears. Lengthy neck, decent front. Short in back & loin. Good rear. Moved very well;

2 Rundle & Williams’ Sidewater Some Buddy, promising dog. Liked his head. Super eye & expression. On his toes, just a bit too much as affected way he stands on his front. Firm in topline with tail well set on. Didn’t really get going to use rear.

JD (2)

1 Broom & Crouch’s Oaxaca Del Boy with Roxway, really smart young dog. Lengthy head, well set ears. Flat skull. Lengthy neck. Better front of these2. Short, firm back. Correct rear. Full of class. RBD;

2 Turley’s Zetamaz Marcel Marceau avec Llyunamill, lots to like about him. Not quite the head of 1. Lengthy neck. Is short in back. Uses his rear well. Tail on top.

PGD (3)

1 Brookes’ Zetamaz Cool Dude, very good outline. Masculine in head. Dark eyes. Ears could be tidier. Good neck. Best front in class. Feet OK. Short in back & loin. Firm topline. Well made rear. Moved well;

2 Turley’s Tamedale Beethoven at Llyunamill, liked his shape. Clean head, a little deep in stop & ears could be better carried. Good neck. Could be better in pastern. Chest to elbow. Level topline. Well made rear;

3 Kettle’s Equifox Perfect Pickle.

LD (2)

1 Brookes’ Zetamaz Frostbite, very good mover, thought he had the best rear of these two. Masculine head, dark eye. Ear OK. Fair neck. Slightly heavy in front. Short back. Low hocks;

2 Saunders’ Galleyshine Black Emperor, masculine head, slightly cheeky. Dark, expressive eyes. Good neck. Nice feet. Chest to elbow. Good topline & tailset. Could have a fraction more hind angulation.

OD (1)

1 Schoneberg’s Am Ch Absolutely Superstitious, heavily marked dog who presents a good outline. Clean, masculine head. Correct stop. Well set ears. Lengthy neck. Well laid shoulder. Long ribs, very short in loin. Hard topline. Correct hind angulation with low hocks. BOB.

PB (4,2)

1 Rundle & Gaydon’s Saredon American Girl, feminine bitch. Nice head. Dark, round eyes. Lengthy neck into good shoulders. Just turns feet in slightly. Firm in topline. Correct depth of chest, well set tail. Good rear. Moves well. RBB;

2 Mullan’s Tamodan First Verse, feminine bitch, ticked coat. Pleasing head with round eyes. Good neck. Fair front. Tight feet. Topline can firm. Liked her rear & low hocks.

JB (2)

1 Thornton, Bebbington & Corish’s Glendraterra Blind Date, really super pup. Very feminine. Clean head. Dark, round eyes. Ears OK. Has a lengthy neck. Short back. Well laid shoulder. Lovely rear. Feet can tighten. Slightly puppyish on move, as to be expected, but real prospect, she is full of quality. BB & BP;

2 Turley’s Zetamaz Paris By Night avec Llyunamill, lots to like about this pup. Clean head with a flat skull. Good neck. Nice front. Just a little longer in back than 1. Good rear. Moves well.

PGB (1)

1 Brookes’ Zetamaz Winters Tail, very good moving bitch, just a fraction long for her height. Feminine head. Markings make her look cheekier than she is. OK for neck. Slightly wide in front. Neat feet. Level topline. Hind angulation matches front. Low hocks.

LB (2)

1 Brookes’ Zetamaz Talk Of The Town, won class on her super movement. Feminine in head. Ears could be better. Fair neck. Short in back. Neat feet. Rear angulation matches her front;

2 Mullan’s Nisyros Climate Control at Tamodan, liked her outline. Pleasing head. Dark, round eyes. Super neck & shoulder. Short in back with tail set on top. Disappointing on move, rather untidy out & back.
