FOX SMOOTH JUDGE THREE COUNTIES 14

Smooth Fox Terriers

PD (2)

1 BP, Anderson & Watt’s Nisyros Cruise Control, 9 months, lovely neck, short backed puppy who found the slippery floor a bit difficult but settled down enough for me to see his movement occasionally. Good head & eye, clean coat, very fit & well muscled, showed OK;

2 Ketley & Gash’s Enjakay Split Second, 11 months & he too was a bit like Bambi on ice. Masculine puppy, quality head, plenty behind the tail, good feet. Bit longer cast than 1.

JD (1)

1 Darby’s Gosel The Artful Dodger of Classicway, 17 months t/w, confident young man in excellent form. Pleasing head, neat ears, clean neckline, god body & depth, showed non stop & clearly having a good time on his own here. Well handled.

PGD (1)

1 G The Artful Dodger of C.

LD (3)

1 RCC, Thornton, Bebbington & Turner’s Glendraterra Galileo, 18 months b/w, short back, lovely head, eyes & ears, keen & switched on, strong quarters, coped quite well with the slippery floor;

2 Grant, Griffiths & Hemmings’ Zlatan I De La Rosa, 19 months, masculine youngster, excellent neck & shoulders, well set & carried tail, long lean head, intelligent expression, well presented. Not quite the topline of 1;

3 Brookes’ Zetamaz Rumour Has It.

OD (1)

1 CC, Smith, Boys & Jones’ Am Ch Absolutely Out Of Sight, stood alone but one who could win much better classes than this. Heavily marked 3 years old who showed with style & animation. Great outline, good neck & tailset, flat skull, keen expression, well muscled. Performed well throughout to win the CC but my ‘pin up girl’ had better profile movement so he had to give way to BOB.

PB (5,3a)

1 Wilson’s Lizoni Cha Cha Cha, like PD winner sired by my DCC winner. 8 months, quality head, lovely eye, clean neck & shoulders, good bone, legs & feet, well proportioned. When competing for BP just not as settled as her half brother;

2 Thornton & Bebbington’s Thunderclap Macphee by Glendaterra, 10 months t/w, great showgirl, good tailset & carriage, feminine head, neat ears, well handled. Would like a shade more length of leg.

JB (1)

1 Morris’ Sanamaris So What, 16 months, feminine youngster with good length of head, well conditioned, fit body. Needs to move with more power behind.

PGB (1)

1 Thornton & Bebbington’s Glendraterra Suzi Kew, 18 months, real eyecatcher with lovely silhouette & overall balance. Gorgeous head & eye, well carried ears, good reach of neck, short back. Looked an absolute picture standing but she didn’t like the slippery floor & could not get moving right behind, throwing one hind leg out as she tried to get a firm footing. Heartbreaking as I loved her standing.

LB (3)

1 Anderson & Watt’s Chezatree Days Of Grace, 3 years t/w, short back, typy feminine bitch who held her topline well on the move. Attractive head, happy showgirl, precise mover, well handled;

2 Hughes & Butcher’s Forgevale Simply A Dream, 19 months t/w, quality head, keen expression, good body, clean & well presented, moved OK. Shade long cast;

3 Rogers’ Falkmere’s First Impression.

OB (8)

This was a real treat of a class, most enjoyable to judge.

1 CC & BOB, Mohrke’s Lux/Cz/Int/Dan/Ger Ch Prada vd Bismarckquelle, fabulous bitch, I was thrilled to see her again, having enthused about her on a previous occasion abroad. Classical head, lovely eyes & ears, reachy neck, on her toes, perfectly conditioned & bodied, deep chest, superior showgirl. I thought she looked amazing moving round the ring, tail on top, expertly handled. I loved her;

2 RCC, Dams’ Belfox Kiri, not easy to follow that. T/w of 2½ years, good neckline & overall proportions, typical head, keen & showy, strong body, fit & well muscled. Coped well with the shiny floor;

3 Rundle’s Leconridge Kiss Me Kate.
