FOX SMOOTH THREE COUNTIES 26 Judge: Mrs J Miller FOX SMOOTH JUDGE THREE COUNTIES 26 A very special invitation to judge at the Three Counties lovely show ground, with biggish rings, fine weather and some quality entries made for a lovely day. PD (2,1) 1 Brookes' Zetamaz Devil Made Me Do It, loved the overall balance of this young man, who stood well on the table and moved soundly with reach and drive having confidence. Well shaped wedged head, flat skull well set ears, dark small expressive eyes. Very nice feel to a muscular body with good chest and body with deep ribs well back, Body coated in a quality smooth, dense well textured, clean white and tan jacket. JD (2) 1 Brookes' Zetamaz Candy Man, very attractive and compactly built, litter brother to the puppy dog winner and so very good to put your hands on. Very smart correctly built head, I preferred his strength and refinement to both my second and his brother, good dark expressive small round eyes, nice rims, correctly set and used ears. Head held well on good length of neck into clean shoulders, firm short back and well set tail. Loved his chest depth and well ribbed back body covered in a clean well conditioned and smooth textured white coat. Balanced and well boned legs with tight padded feet. Super sound mover using his hocks well. RDCC. 2 Craigs' Lorecon Improbable, very nice to look at on the stance, I just found him slightly finer all over and lacking the muscle tone and substance of my winner. Attractive well marked head, slightly finer in his wedge shape, ears held well, dark eyes correctly shaped. Head held well on a neck of good length into clean shoulders. Good length to his back although topline slightly dipping as he stood. Nice tail set and carriage. Not the chest depth of my winner, also shorter in his rib making him longer in loin. Presented well in a clean dense smooth whiter coat. Having nicely balanced and boned legs and small tight feet. Would have liked a better return to his stifle, I did not like his rear action needs to settle having more strength could help. OD (4) 1 Wilberg, Bradley Jenkins' Ch Kanix Stafford [AI], headed a very special class of some quality dogs but so different in their builds, balance and construction. This boy stood out for his style and breed type and was so well handled to get the best from him. Liked his overall compact build and balance with a stylish well marked tan head, good ear set and use of, dark kind expressive small eyes, good jaw strength. Proud head carriage on a strong clean muscular neck widening cleanly into his shoulders, holds a strong level short back, a correct tail set and carriage. Well angulated front with depth to his chest, very straight well boned and balanced legs with tight arched well padded feet. Muscular body well ribbed back with short loin, muscular hindquarters with moderate return of stifle and short hocks. Presented in a clean, harsh, dense smooth textured white jacket. Smart mover with true action front and rear and he really covers the ground well. DCC and BOB pleased to see him shortlisted into final Terrier Group. 2 Brookes' Zetamaz Rainbow Quest, this 5 year old black and tan marked boy was in very hard condition, being slightly taller than my winner but having a good body balance. Darkly marked head the correct shape, although found him a little stronger in his flat skull than my winner, well positioned and held ears, dark small shaped alert eyes. Good head carriage, strong well muscled neck widening into clean shoulders and firm short back to well set and held tail. A deep chest to his compact body having depth. Very straight well boned fore legs with tight padded small feet. Ribs well back with short strong loin, muscular hindquarters would have liked more return of stifle. Moved out soundly both ends with forward reach and enough rear drive. 3 Kettle & Davies' Foxindean Press Rewind. 4 Kettles' United Du Manoir Saint Agrien Avec Foxindean [Import Fra]. VD (1) 1 Nicholls' Zetamaz Just Inked, I have judged this smaller well worked and balanced 8.5 year old male before and he has retained his good looks and is well bodied and toned for his age. Having a finely shaped wedged head solidly marked in black and tan, still with clear dark small eyes and good dentition for his age, enough length of neck into well laid back shoulders, a firm level short back and well set on and carried tail. A body so well developed and having nice angulation front and rear, heavily marked black patches on his white dense short harsh presented coat. Enough good straight bone and tight feet. Moved out soundly at front but I would have liked stronger hocks. PB (3) 1 Brookes' Zetamaz Ella Viday, litter sister to the two puppy boys, certainly was an exciting litter all having prospects. I thought the boys were special but this little lady really had me thinking and as I put my hands on her I felt she was all I was looking for in a youngster of her age. I loved her size, compact body so well toned and muscled. Such a pretty, feminine head so well worked of correct shape and overall balance, well placed set and used ears, bright alert small dark eyes with cheeky look, with tight pigmented rims. Having a proud head carriage on long strong clean neck widening into well laid shoulders. A short strong level back and well set on tail carried correctly. Lovely body with depth and substance with deep ribs set well back, nice short loin. Really well angulated front and rear with nice depth to her chest, and muscular hindquarters with return of stifle and strong hocks. Moved out so soundly covering the ground well, on very straight well balanced and boned legs with small tight hard padded feet. Thought she complimented my CC winner by being of very similar build and balance RCC. 2 Nicholls' Chantalle's Diva The Beaver [Naf] Very sweet baby giving her owner/handler a hard time. Think this girl was at her first show and enjoying her day out. Lovely size and shape and very similar to my winner for her balance. Very attractive black and tan marked head which needs to break as she matures. Well set and positioned ears, alert dark expressive eyes, would like a little more length of muzzle. Good length of neck into nice shoulders and a firm strong back line to well set and carried tail. Good chest depth and front angulation with straight legs I would have liked stronger boned legs, small tight feet. Well ribbed back body with short loin, enough weight, strong hindquarters and short hocks. Presented well in a white smooth harsh coat. JB (2,1) 1 Arustamyans' Lorecon Tea Time, this young lady really caught my attention and did have her in my thoughts for the CC RCC so I do hope she has a good future and I will watch with interest. Very sweet, feminine black and tan marked head of correct shape, nice held and set ears, expressive dark kind eyes. Strong, long clean neck into well laid back shoulders, firm compact body with strong level backline, well set on and carried tail. Lovely angulation front and rear of her deep well ribbed back body with short strong loin with slight tuck up, lovely substance for her age. Beautiful presentation to her solid white coat with a harsh smooth touch. A very free sound mover with lovely reach and drive really uses her hocks as she covers the ground. LB (4,2) 1 Wilbergs' Kanix Stella, having the correct size and overall shape and being well bodied with depth and substance, presented well in a light tan and white coat with some body markings. Very feminine head although I would have liked a little more work, her ears could be held looser, sweet expression from small alert dark eyes. Would have liked a stronger jaw. Good length to her clean neck that widened into well laid shoulders and with a firm level short back, a good rump with correct set on tail with nice carriage. Correct shoulder to upper arm angulation with enough depth to her chest, well sprung ribs well back with a short loin with slight tuck up. Very straight well boned legs with neat tight well padded feet. Hindquarters well developed, moderate return of stifle and let down hocks, I would have liked a more positive and sounder rear action. 2 Rogers' Lunafox Gentle Touch, very well bodied and put together 5 year old presented well in hard condition. I liked her size and outline and she stood and showed well. Feminine head well worked of correct shape with nice muzzle, would have liked better ear shape needing to settle. Correct eye shape having a dark alert expression. Head carried well on good neck length into a well laid shoulder and firm backline with nice tail set and carriage, toned hindquarters with good return of stifle and tight small feet. Nice compact body well ribbed back with short strong loin with slight tuck up. Harsh short dense tan markings on her white coated body. Good balance to her straight legs with enough bone, moves out well but needs a better and sounder action. OB (2,1) 1 Brookes' Zetamaz Dream Queen, very smart look to this feminine compactly built lady. Very nice wedge shaped and worked head, half white black markings do not help her expression, well set and used ears, small alert dark alert eyes, clean cheeks, strong jaw. Nice head carriage on long clean lines with good neck set well into laid back shoulders, a firm short back with slight rise to her rump, well set on and carried tail. Correctly angulated front with depth to her chest, ribs well back into her deep body with slight tuck to her strong loin. Coat condition dense and harsh to touch. Muscular hindquarters with good return of stifle, moved out OK would have liked a stronger rear action although she was sound. VB (2) 1 Kettles' Foxindean Future Legend, I really loved the outline of this beautiful 7.5 year old well put together compact lady. Stood well covering the ground with a lovely build and balance and so compact. Very feminine well marked head with flat skull and moderately narrowing to her strong jaw, lovely small bright alert dark round eyes, well set and held ears of nice thickness. Holds head proudly on long neck widening as set into her well laid shoulders. Has short level strong back nice rump and well set on and carried tail. Good depth to her chest, well ribbed back with short loin, with slight tuck up. Body was well muscled and toned could have just been carrying a little weight but this did not spoil her outline, presented in a quality harsh textured white coat with tan markings Very straight well boned and balanced legs with tight small tight padded feet, moved out very well covering the ground well and soundly, pleased to award BCC. Good luck with your final CC. Best Veteran in Breed. Pleased to see her placed group 4 in the Veteran finals under Terrier expert Colin Power. 2 Rogers' Only You Du Manoir Saint Adrien At Lunafox [Import Fra], of a nice size and balance although she was just a little longer cast than my winner but had a nice stance. This 8.5 year old well marked black and tan headed girl had a beautiful body coat covered in a harsh white jacket in lovely condition. Nice head just a little too fine for me, flat skull narrowing to finely to her jawline. Would have liked better ear set but nice enough v shape. Dark small round eyes with expression. Good neck length into well laid back shoulders and a firm level back just a little long with well set tail. Nicely angulated front and rear of a good body needing more depth to her chest and little more strength to her ribs with more depth. Straight forelegs with enough bone and tight small feet. Hindquarters with enough return of stifle and short hocks, moved out well covering the ground. Jenny Miller |
