FOX SMOOTH JUDGE WELSH KENNEL CLUB 14

Smooth Fox Terriers

My thanks to the WKC for inviting me to judge at this very special ch show. The setting is second to none & the weather was reasonably kind allowing the judging to take place outside, last done 10 years ago.

Many thanks to the exhibitors for allowing me to go over their dogs. Quality was good, temperaments excellent, we are so fortunate to have such a reliable breed. Movement in some exhibits was difficult to assess, the requirement of moving straight fore & aft seemed hard to achieve in some exhibits. I think movement on a loose lead is very much in the past for most handlers.

Thanks to my stewards especially for my occasional ‘blonde’ moment in the judging book.
