FOX SMOOTH WINDSOR 11 Judge: Mr F Kane FOX SMOOTH JUDGE WINDSOR 11 Smooth Fox Terriers VD 1 Ch Classicway Barnaby Rudge, almost 8 years, lovely shape & in good form, good head. Ears could be neater. Very good topline & used his quarters well; 2 Star Turn of Galleyshine, almost 9 years, beautiful head & neater ears than 1 but not quite as clean in neck & shoulder or as free in action. Wonderful topline & tailset, a great credit to the breed. PD 1 Sanamaris Seventy Seven, beautiful puppy of 9 month, superb headpiece & excellent movement, short backed, good tailset. Just needs to make up in body to go to the top; 2 Glendraterra Sancho Panza among Daxaca, 7 month, heavier dog who is good in rib & front. A little heavier in head & not the couplings of 1 which showed in his topline. JD 1 Sanamaris Sweet Talker, 9 month, short backed, good ribbing, good flow of neck into shoulder, clean head. Ears need to settle. A little loose in front. PGD 1 Entity De Grandieux, a little leggy & needs to drop in chest a little. Scored in head & movement, short backed, good tailset. Needs a little more rear angulation; 2 Chipstead Cello, good bodied dog scoring in depth of hcest. Rather heavier through the head & not using his quarters to good effect. In excellent condition & very good topline. LD 1 D’mister Leon De La Vetta Dit Prosper, balanced & full of type, went well. A little too much spring of rib but scored in topline & balance to win this class; 2 Yoxella Whistle & Flute with Darlaur, fantastic headed dog, beautiful eyes. A little too deep in front ribs for perfect balance & he did not really help his handler on the move. Has great class & should finish well; 3 Ranlock Portman. OD Two very good dogs in close competition. 1 Ch Starpride Devil In Disguise of Classicway, lovely shape, looked like a short backed hunter. Good body & very good movement, full of quality, very good type all through. CC & BOB; 2 Ir Ch Shillelagh Ushaka, superb head which I preferred to 1 but not quite the finish of body & looked just a little leggy. Excellent quarters & lovely topline, in great form. RCC; 3 Dobelands Silent Danger. PB 1 Darlaur Dymi Fi, 9 month, has a real stamp of quality, beautiful head & eye, scored in front. Can firm up in topline & needs a little more collection on the move but loved her type; 2 Glendraterra Lady Gaga among Daxaca, 7 months, very showy & went well. Needs time to finish in head & 1 scored below the eyes. Excellent neck, good topline & quarters, a lot of promise; 3 Chipstead Star. JB 1 Dobelands Giggle & Gossip at Zetamaz, 16 months, clean outline & good tailset, good movement, good skull. Would prefer her a little stronger in front of the eyes. A lot of quality; 2 Falkmeres First Impression, 13 month, short bodied bitch, good ribbing & quarters. tailset a little low. Not the flow of neck into shoulder of 1. Good head & eye; 3 Equifox Silvery Moonlight. PGB 1 Forgevale Simply Stunning, lovely quality bitch, top size but beautifully built, excellent headpiece & movement. Not fully mature in body but still young & had the quality & type to merit the CC; 2 Equifox Silver Stargazer, feminine, short backed & good head. Not ears or tailset or angulation of 1. Settled to move well when given a little longer lead. LB 1 Yoxella Welsh Gold, excellent quality, lovely head & eye, went well, short back, clean run of neck into shoulder. Would prefer better topline but comfortable winner her; 2 Equifox Gold Flute, good headpiece & sound movement. Too heavy in body & rib but her soundness of movement put her here; 3 Rio’s Sparkling Snowflake. OB Disappointing class. 1 Forgevale Four Star, won on shortness of back, movement & topline. Good head, neck & shoulder. I would prefer more hindquarter; 2 Int Ch Fr B’Carmen De La Vetta, 5 years, very good type. A little fat & not going well on the move. Good head. Not the flow of outline of 1; 3 Galleyshine Secret Love. FRANK KANE |
