FOX SMOOTH JUDGE WINDSOR 17
Veteran D/B: 1
1. Rogers’ Falkmere’s First Impression. 7 yrs t/w bitch who moved freely and with drive. Was alert and attentive to handler at all times.
Puppy Dog: 1
1. Brookes’ Snugglewood’s Mefisto Op Zetamaz (Imp). 11 mths b/w having strong bone and plenty of substance. Good head, correct bite. Well laid shoulders. Moved ok coming but a tad close behind. Good tail set.
Junior Dog: 2(1a)
1. Kettle’s Darlaur Dragon Slayer. A strong b/w dog standing on good feet and covering plenty of ground. Well laid shoulders and correct rear assembly. A strong, masculine headed dog, although I would have preferred smaller ears. Moved freely and well both ways.
Post Graduate Dog: 3(1a)
1. Baker’s Roxway Extra Time at Tuskenraider. B/w having a good head with everything in proportion. Correct bite. Full of attitude but needed to settle when moving forward. Moved ok going away. Well made dog standing on good feet and with plenty of bone and substance.
2. Nicholls & Stahle’s Chantalles Dennis the Menace. A different type from 1 being longer cast. Head was ok but would prefer smaller ears. Correct bite. Overall preferred the head of 1.
Limit Dog: 4(2A)
1. Kettle’s Equifox Perfect Pickle. T/w well made dog, albeit the head is a little plain. Of good shape and make and enough bone. Moved freely both ways. In good condition.
2. Kato’s Saredon Patches. B/w dog who was not at all happy on the day. Long neck into well laid shoulders. On the day would not settle – not the movement of 1.
Open Dog: 4
1. Broom’s Ch Oaxaca Del Boy with Roxway. Every inch the champion and putting it all in today. T/w with correct head and ears, small dark eye and correct bite. Good lay of shoulder into short back and excellent rear assembly. Moved well and with drive. CC & BOB
2. Morris’ Sanamaris Strange Magic. B/w upstanding dog with great front assembly and good shoulders. Correct head, eye and ears. Moved freely and well although a little unsettled on the table. RCC
3. Schoneberg’s Pepino vd Schonenbergen
Res: Clifford’s Migley Llewellyn
Good Citizen D/B: 1
1. Rogers’ Falkmere’s First Impression
Puppy Bitch: 1
1. Jones’ Darlaur Déjà vu. 10 mths t/w beautifully presented. Lovely correct head, eye and ears. Long sweeping neck into well laid shoulders and short back. Moved positively both ways. BP
Junior Bitch: 2
1. Thornton & Bebbington’s Glendraterra Black Eyed Pea. 17mths b/w having a good straight front, correct lay of shoulder into a short back. Good head, eye & ears. Standing on good feet. Moved ok.
2. Rogers’ Magie Noire du Manoir Saint Adrien at Lunafox (Imp). B/w 15 mths. Different type from 1 and longer cast. Head and expression were ok although I would have preferred a smaller ear. Moved freely.
Post Graduate Bitch: 4(2a)
1. Goodley’s Glendraterra Glad Rags. B/w, 17 mths. Good for size with straight front. Good head piece. Correct lay of shoulder into short back. Moved well fore and aft.
2. Kettle’s Yoxella Warm Spell. B/w 2 yrs. Up to size. Good head, neck and shoulder, but longer cast than 1. Would prefer a better tail set. Positive movement fore and aft.
Limit Bitch: 3
1. Saunders’ Venice VD Bismarckquelle (Imp). B/w of good shape and make who has improved considerably since the last time I saw her being shown. Correct head, eye and expression. Good neck into well laid shoulders. Short back. Moved well going, but would have liked a little more positivity in front.
2. Thornton & Bebbington’s Glendraterra Dezina Label. Entering the ring and standing she has great presence. Neat head, eye and ears. Good neck into correct shoulders. Short back. Good tail set. Unfortunately on the day she would not settle making it difficult for her handler.
3. Rundle & Gaydon’s Saredon American Girl
Open Bitch: 6(1a)
1. Davies’ L’Magali Du Manoir Saint Adrien at Mosvalley. Loved this bitch. Great headpiece with good expression. Reachy neck and well laid shoulders. Standing on good feet. Correct tail set. Moved well both ways. Delighted to have awarded her the crowning CC. CC
2. Baker’s Ch Darlaur Delaware to Tuskenraider. T/w in super condition. Good head and expression, but on the day preferred the head of 1. Well laid shoulders into short back. Correct rear assembly giving positive movement both ways. RCC
