FOX SMOOTH JUDGE WINDSOR 19

Thank you to Windsor for the invitation. Thanks also go to three very good stewards and to everyone who entered. I had some excellent dogs to judge. Judging is all about degrees of forgiveness. Some exhibits lacked heads with the correct flat skulls, cat-like feet and sound movement.

PD (3, 2)

1 Clifford’s Migley Nemo. Has a good head, good bite, well off for bone, good tan colour and moved ok.

JD (2)

1 Thornton & Bebbington’s Glendraterra Will Eye Am. Eyecatching young dog with good head and expression. Standing gives a lovely outline, level back, good bone, tail well set. Moved alright when settled, would like better feet. Future Champion. Res CC.

2 Chipstead Dublin. Good head and expression, pleasing type, good bend of stifle, front movement could be better.

PGD (1)

1 Shaw & Habbit’s Foxindean Rebel Rebel. Up to size dog, has a long head, honest type, moved ok, well handled.

LD (3)

1 Davies & Watson’s Mosvalley Brian May. Loved this dog’s head and expression. He has a lovely eye, good bite, correct skull and ears, good neck and shoulder, level back and good hindquarters, moved very well. Deserved CC, his third today.

2 Vickers’ Eskwyre Meet Me In St Louis. Good type with pleasing head, has a good outline, preferred the shoulder of winner, moved ok.

3 Baker’s Roxway Extra Time At Tuskenraider.

OD (3)

1 Tamedale Caruso. Different type to CC winner. Has many qualities, is of good size and stands four square. I would just like him more refined.

2 Wilberg, Evans, Wilkinson & Rowles’ Aus Supreme Ch Pinnacle Me Myself And Eye To Kanix. This one has a good head and expression, his ears are on the large side but they are well placed, has a flat skull, good neck and shoulder and moved well. Pressed hard to win class.

3 Kettle’s Equifox Perfect Pickle.

PB (5)

1 Hannar’s Borovale Nameri. What an outstanding puppy. I couldn’t take my eyes off her. Lovely feminine head, correct varminty expression, good neck and shoulder, correct round bone, nice feet. Level back, good bend of stifle and hocks low set. Correct tail placement, moved soundly, presented and shown so well. CC & BOB. She won the Puppy Group & second in adult Group. If she keeps all her attributes I can’t see why she can’t go further and win Groups and who knows maybe more.

2 Wilberg & Evans’ Pinnacle Amanda To Kanix. This one has a smart outline, her head is good, ears could be neater, moved well, well handled.

3 Griffiths’ Yoxella White Truffles.

JB (4, 1)

1 Thornton & Bebbington’s Glendraterra Eye Catcha. Liked this one, looked good standing and on the table was pleasing to go over, correct eye, good bite, good front, nice bone, level back, moved really well. One for the future I’m sure. Just out of puppy.

2 Dams’ Tamedale Priscilla. Same comments as winner, just preferred the movement of winner.

3 Rogers’ Lorecon Daybreak At Lunafox.

PGB (6, 1)

1 Rogers’ Only You Du Manoir Saint Adrien At Lunafox (Imp). Difficult class to judge, this one did more than enough to win on movement alone. Good head and expression, well bodied, level back and in good condition.

2 Kettle’s Foxindean Prettiest Star. Liked this one overall. Good neck and shoulder, similar to winner, hind movement let her down today.

3 Shaw & Habbit’s Lorecon Times Arrow.

LB (6, 1)

1 Arustamyan’s Lorecon Space Monster. Nothing exaggerated about this one. Good head and expression, good neck and shoulder, pleasing to go over, sound type with good hind quarters, moved very well.

2 Vickers’ Shes The One At Eskwyre. Tan and white with good outline, on close examination would like a flatter skull and better front movement, but she is very appealing.

3 Mullan’s Glendraterra Blithe Spirit.

OB (4)

1 Schoneberg’s Ch Wanda vd Schonen Bergen. High quality one, loved her head and expression, good bite, level back, good legs and feet, tail bang on top. Have admired her from the ringside, worthy champion. Res CC.

2 Hannar’s Borovale Georgia. This is a good one with good head and neat ears giving best of expression, level back, moved very well. She is a bit up in the air, really good type.

3 Hughes & Butcher’s Belfox Paris (Imp).
