WIRE FOX NATIONAL TERRIER 09 Fox Terriers (Wire) Judge/s:Pauline Fox (Gavingale) Best Dog: O'DONOGHUE'S BLACKDALE THE DIAMOND WIRE FOX JUDGE NAT TERRIER 09 Wire Fox Terriers In the BOB challenge the dog would not move so the bitch took top honours. MPD (3,1a) 1 Bradford’s Flintwyre In The Blood, smart t/w puppy, nice head & ears, level topline, good tailset, moved well for one so young, showed well; 2 Coutts’ Brocolitia Talk O The Town, long lean head. Would have preferred better ears & tail carriage. PD (1 ) 1 Maughan’s Brocolitia Spartan Warrior, smart looking dog, good head & ears, level bite, moving really well, shown in good coat & condition. BP & RBPIS. JD (4) 1 Thompson’s Burrencroft Special Lad, beautiful head & ears, good tailset, moved true fore & aft, well prepared & handled; 2 Nixon’s Willowyre Wild About Me, beautifully prepared & handled as always, moved OK; 3 Clark & Browbank’s Ellenside Energetic. ND (0). PGD (6) 1 Herron’s Burrencroft Sidekick of Herronfox, smart dog of correct size, shown in good condition; 2 Maughan’s Brocolitia Celtic Warrior, well prepared & handled. Would have preferred him a size bigger, nevertheless a very smart dog; 2 Frost & Varrio’s Travella Secret Pact. LD (2) 1 Schoneberg’s Diamant vd Schonen Bergen, extremely smart dog, well prepared & handled, balanced from head to neck, shoulders to height, good head & ears. RCC; 2 Booton’s Boowire Tudor Minstrel, not in such sparkling form as 1. Would have liked a better head. OD (5) 1 O’Donoghue’s Blackdale The Diamond, nice head & ears, well balanced, sound in all departments, moved & showed well. CC; 2 De Munter-Uiterwijk’s Ch Eleazar Van Foliny Home, just a size bigger than 1. In tip top condition, super head & expression, moved well; 3 Hill’s Ch Hillrise Special Delivery. MPB (1) 1 Maughan’s Brocolitia Pretty Perfect, unfortunately wouldn’t move on the day. PB (4,2) 1 Legros’ Travella Shiva Diva, nicely balanced, good head & ears, good bite, nice size, good tailset with plenty behind, moved well; 2 Freeman’s Brocolitia Diamond Dust, a little raw at the moment but has time on her side. JB (4) 1 Maughan’s Brocolitia Witches Brew, nice sized bitch, lovely head & ears, good tailset, moved true both ways; 2 Thomas’ Gosel Emma’s Child, nice bitch, level topline & good tailset. Would have preferred a better head. Moved & showed OK; 3 Salas’ Heaven Sent of Northwires at Harrowhill. NB (1) 1 North’s Blackdale Chorus, would not move. PGB (4,1) 1 De Munter-Uiterwijk’s Gina Gee van Foliny Home, nice size, good make & shape, shown in good coat & condition, moved & showed well; 2 Herron’s Burrencroft Northern Lass at Herronfox, smaller bitch all through than 1, not moving well in front; 3 Ensell’s Aman Barbed Wire at Nemiah. LB (6,2) 1 Bradley’s Whittingford Warm Glow, moved well both ways, bitch of nice size, well presented, pleasing head & ears; 2 Barratt’s Tyquin Ada Adalane, just preferred overall balance of 1. Shown in good condition. Two nice bitches; 3 Thompson’s Burrencroft Sally. OB (7,3) 1 Howe’s Valken Violetta, beautiful head & ears, good bite, nice neck, short back, tail on top, good legs & feet, moved well. CC & BOB; 2 Goodsell’s Blackdale Carousel, would not settle to be examined on the table. Have seen this bitch perform better; 3 Carrerea’s Travella Special Intent. PAULINE FOX
