FOX WIRE WINDSOR 09 Judge: Mrs P Broom WIRE FOX JUDGE WINDSOR 09 Wire Fox Terriers PD (5,1a) 1 Averis & Barker’s Saredon Mister Nice Guy, striking dog, very good head, dark eye & earset, neck & shoulder, short level back with good set-on, in good coat & condition, moved well. RCC & BP; 2 Lilley’s Wyregait Mister Right, naughty puppy needs a firm hand. Good head, well bodied, straight front & topline, good bone & substance, harsh coat; 3 Bradford’s Flyntwyre In The Blood. JD (5,4) 1 England’s Ashleyheath Whirlwind, dog of ideal size, pleasing head & eye, good neck & shoulders, good angulation & well muscled. Could have moved better. PGD (3,2) 1 De Munter & Uiterwijk’s Goldfinger Van Foliny Home, beautifully presented & well balanced dog, great head, dark eye, well carried ears, neck of good length, good shoulder, short back, level topline & good set-on, well angulated hindquarters, in good coat & moved well. CC. LD (6,4) 1 Smith’s Lenicka Viking Chief, good size & substance, pleasing head & expression, good neck & shoulder, his sound movement won this class. Would prefer a smaller ear to complete the picture; 2 Free & Moakes’ Blackdale Invader, well presented dog as one expects from this handler, good head & expression, short & compact but just not enough of him. OD (2,1) 1 Westwood’s Nethertonion Three Lions, mature dog with good substance, in good coat, good set-on, moved OK, well handled. PB (1) 1 Frizell’s Brocolitia Pretty Perfect, pretty feminine puppy, nice make & shape. Pleasing head but a little bold in eye. Moved well, quite a showgirl. JB (3,1) 1 Legros’ Travella Shiva Diva, very balanced bitch, good length of neck, short back, good set-on, feminine head, dark eye, beautiful presented, moved & showed well. RCC; 2 Thomas’ Gosel Emma’s Child, bitch of good size. Slightly longer in back than 1. Pleasing head & expression, well presented. PGB (4,1) 1 De Munter & Uiterwijk’s Ginagee Van Foliny Home, another well balanced dog from this kennel, beautifully presented, short back, great reach of neck, good head & ear, moved well; 2 Pearce’s Alkinra Yours Truly, very nice bitch but did not seem to put her all in. In good coat & condition, moved steadily; 3 Benge’s Proviets Peggy Sue at Romtyke. LB (4,1) 1 Smith’s Lenicka Dancing Queen, good type of bitch, very well made, compact, liked her overall balance & size, pleasing head with good expression, moved very well; 2 Schoneberg’s Diana vd Schonen Bergen, another very good bitch, but not as compact as 1. Close decision; 3 Anderson’s Proviets If By Chance. OB (5,1) Four lovely bitches. 1 Goodsall’s Ch Blackdale Carousel, very well known bitch & everything has already been said about her & she certainly did not disappoint here, in excellent form, coat & condition as always, a credit to the breed & her owner. 2 Howe’s Valken Violetta, this bitch was unfortunate to meet the winner who was in such sparkling form but her day will come. Very feminine & elegant, lovely head, dark eye which gives a good expression, long neck into good shoulder, level topline & good set-on, moved & showed well; 3 Clark & Browbank’s Ellenside Love Her Madly.
