Thanks to Darlington committee for inviting me to judge this lovely breed and thanks to all exhibitors for the entry.
All exhibits were presented well, however I was surprised to find some were lacking muscle tone through the body, which in a heavy breed affected the efficiency called for in the standard for free action and to cover the ground effortlessly.
Class 831 VD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2053 HANNINGTON, Miss Amy : Eng & Bel Dutch Int Ch Esp Ch Boudivella Osca – I couldn’t believe this boy is nearly 11 years of age, he’s a credit to his owner. A very showy male who immediately catches your eye, strength and substance throughout, excellent head shape with good width and length, correct stop, dark expressive eye, small well used ears, powerful jaw with big strong teeth, good neck and super lay of shoulder, strong topline, liked his front with complementing well angulated rear, he has a couple of lumps and bumps which did not distract from this lovely male. 1st: 2055 HANNINGTON, Miss Amy : Boudivella Love Story - A promising young male with lots to like, balanced throughout, strong well proportioned head of good width with well placed and correct ears, good eye shape and colour, lovely topline slightly rising, coat in good condition and coming through, needs to mature a touch more, but only young, moved quite freely around the ring.
2nd: 2065 PRYCE, Mrs Lissa : Cenaubach I Do – Lovely head shape and width, strong in muzzle nicely tapering to nose, strong in chest with plenty of heart room, liked his firm topline rising towards his loin, coat texture needs to come through a bit more, he wasn’t really settling down on the move today.
3rd: 2060 HARDY, Mrs Anne : Jojase Brogan Midnight Blue With Amhard -
Class 834 PGD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2060 HARDY, Mrs Anne : Jojase Brogan Midnight Blue With Amhard – Litter brothers in this class. He is well balanced with good bone and substance throughout, strong in head with powerful foreface, big teeth, small ears and was using them, good length of neck and well angulated shoulders, good front with correct bow, deep chest, well muscled hind quarters, moved well, especially going away.
2nd: 2069 SALETTI, Miss Serena : Jojase Blarney Magic Blue - This boy isn’t quite as strong in bone and substance at this age, lovely head and expression, good mouth, ears a touch lower than 1, was not as positive in movement coming toward.
Class 835 LD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2063 KIRKWOOD, Mrs C : Cazcade Can't Catch Me - Presented in excellent form and condition, in good coat of harsh texture, good for size and well balanced, excellent expression, lovely dark round eye, good rose ears, correct stop and has a powerful jaw, muscular neck into well laid shoulders, firm topline which he held on the move, very good tail set giving balance to the outline, he covered the ground easily so free and easy. 2nd: 2059 HARDY, Mrs Anne : Amhard Tornado – Lovely head shape of good width, well placed small ears, strong teeth and powerful jaw, long muscular neck with good shoulder placement, deep chest of good length with well sprung ribs, just standing with his front feet a touch wide. Plenty of rear angulation gave him plenty of drive on the move.

1st: 2064 KIRKWOOD, Mrs C : Jeonty Kylo Ren At Cazcade - This typifies the wording maximum substance for the size of dog, a powerful male with a profuse harsh outercoat. Powerful head, with good width, dark eye, well set on ears and huge teeth, strong well muscled neck into well angulated shoulders, good legs with plenty of bone, deep chest with plenty of heart room and well sprung ribs, excellent well muscled rear quarters, he moved freely around the ring with lots of drive from behind. 2nd: 2058 HARDY, Mrs Anne : Ch UK Amhard Quick Fire – A lovely mature male with an excellent expression and lovely dark take me home eyes, strong neck and well laid shoulders, typical bowed front, very good width and depth of chest , good topline, level with slight rise with strength in loin,

1st: 2051 FORBES, Mrs K : Ch Jeonty Dreams A Dream With Karensbrae JW ShCEx – A quality bitch at 8 years belies her age, she is well balanced and has a typical outline, lovely head and feminine expression, enough width of head with small rose ears set on correctly, excellent teeth and dentition, well muscled neck of good length flowing into well angulated shoulders, topline tapering towards a well set on tail, good front with plenty of depth, she showed well and stood naturally, good front movement and drive from behind.

1st: 2056 HANNINGTON, Miss Amy : Boudivella Dottie - A lovely promising baby, head needs to come on some more, which is only natural, has a sweet expression, good length and shape of muzzle, good length of neck, shoulders well laid back, lovely tail set, chest deep for age and plenty of heart room, she moved really free and easy for such a youngster with super drive from behind. 1st: 2052 FORBES, Mrs K & FORBES, Miss Caitlin P : Boudivella Higher Love With Karensbrae – Quality youngster, very good outline and body shape, strong feminine head, good length of neck, well angulated shoulders, well sprung ribs, quite deep for age, firm topline held well on the move, covered the ground well in all directions,
2nd: 2068 SALETTI, Miss Serena : Jojase Bridie True Blue - Lovely head shape, dark eye, good stop, not using her ears to advantage, decent shoulders into firm topline, didn’t quite settle to put her all into moving.
Class 840 PGB (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2062 KIRKWOOD, Mrs C : Cazcade Coming Around Again – She catches your eye and a real show girl, still needs time to mature, has a lovely balanced outline with nothing overdone, feminine head with good stop lovely ears, dark round eye, strength to jaw with good teeth, has enough bone and substance, front of good depth with feet correctly placed, moved really well and can only get better as she matures.
2nd: 2067 SALETTI, Miss Serena : Jojase Aisling Pixie – More advanced than 1 in body and substance, lovely head and expression, good neck and topline with tail carried well, not quite as positive in front movement on the day.
Class 841 LB (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2061 KIRKWOOD, Mrs C : Cazcade Betty Boop – Still maturing and can only get better, a real showgirl, has a super outline, feminine head of good width, small well set on ears, lovely dark round eye, good mouth and dentition, neck flows into well laid shoulders, topline gently rising to well set and held tail, good depth of chest and ribbing, has a free and easy action with good parallel drive from behind. Pushing really hard for the top spot. Res CC
2nd: 2054 HANNINGTON, Miss Amy : Boudivella Fire Cracker JW – Not quite putting the effort in today, she has a pleasing outline, nicely shaped head with good width, not using her ears at all which distracted for the expression, good neck and shoulders, topline rising to tail, has a good depth of chest and well ribbed, just needed a bit more propulsion today.
Class 842 OB (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 2066 PRYCE, Mrs Lissa : Cazcade And So It Begins – It all came together today for this lovely bitch, she never stopped showing, set herself up and showed off her well balanced outline, very good head shape, with good width, well set on small rose ears, lovely dark and round eye, strong jaw, bite could have been a touch more scissor, super neck flowing into well angulated shoulders, deep chest with good spring of rib, firm topline held steady on the move, covered the ground with ease, balanced and free flowing. CC and Best of Breed, she went really well in the group.
