1. Cooke’s Star Du Neufmoulin for Montelle (Imp Bel). Most promising 11 mth old pup. I thought him an excellent type and he presented just the outline I was looking for. Neck of good length, firm topline, good depth to chest, ribcage extending well back, muscular loin and tail correct for both set and carriage. Quality head with delightful expression; of good length, flat skull, ears set on just right, nice dark eyes, strong jaw and perfect dentition. Moving so well in profile and nice and firm behind, just needs to tighten a tad in front. Excellent temperament and so very well handled. Reserve Best Dog & Best Puppy and pleased to see he ended the day by taking Puppy Group 3.

1. Bamsey’s Holbam Celtic Wizzard JW. I see I have done this 19 mth old boy well before. He still appealed, presents the characteristic racy outline of the breed and has a super head and expression. Clean neck of good length to balance, firm straight back, good depth to chest, pleasing rib, muscular loin and tail set on well and of good carriage. Head of good length with flat skull, minimal stop, perfectly set ears, dark expressive eyes, strong muzzle and correct dentition. He stands nice and straight in front on good feet and is well muscled behind with moderate turn of stifle. Alert at all times and quite the character and making the most of himself on the move. Best Dog.

1. Simons’ Saredon Red Berry. Coming up to 3 yrs, this boy is a tad heavier all through, but still with lots to like. Neck of good length to balance, firm topline, good depth to chest, muscular loin and tail good for both set and carriage. Flat skull, slight stop, dark expressive eyes, ears could be better, strong jaw and correct scissor bite. Good angles front and rear, straight forelegs, good feet and hocks well let down. Moving well enough all through but could make a little more of himself.

1. Lee’s Ivyblue Crinkles. 7 mth old pup with the most delightful temperament and obviously loving life! Feminine all through with excellent neck, good depth to chest, topline needs to firm up a tad, ribcage extends well back and muscular loin. Falls away slightly at croup and therefore tailset could be better. Attractive head and expression with flat skull, minimal stop, nice dark eyes, ears of correct set and good length to muzzle. Pleasing angles front and rear, straight forelegs, good feet and muscular hindquarters with well let down hocks. Moving well in profile, nice parallel rear and ok when coming towards.

1. Bamsey’s Carliams Witching Hour. This 15 mth old won here on overall balance and her characteristic racy outline. She is very raw right now and therefore needs time. Neck of good length, topline needs to firm a tad, good length to ribcage, muscular loin and correct tail for set and carriage. Flat skull, acceptable ears, dark eyes and correct dentition. Moving well enough all through and using herself at all times.
2. Wortley’s Jarabica Grace O'Malley. 14 mth old who was really quite different to the winner and for me, lacked the raciness of the breed. She pleased in head and expression with nice flat skull, slight stop, good eye and ear, good length to muzzle and correct scissor bite. Clean neck, firm level topline, not quite ribbing of winner, muscular loin and tail set on well. Nice straight forelegs, good feet and moderately angulated rear. Moving ok.

1. Redman’s Holbam Celtic Little Minx. Two 19 mth old litter sisters challenged in this class and both have so much to like. The winner is slightly racier in outline but the two could easily change places. This girl has a delightful temperament and used herself at all times. Neck of good length to balance, straight topline, deep brisket, pleasing rib, muscular loin and tail set on pretty high and of good carriage. Head of good length, flat skull, dark expressive eyes and correct scissor bite. She stands nice and straight in front and is moderately angulated behind with well let down hocks. Moving well on the go around and nice and parallel when going away but could be cleaner in front. Reserve Best Bitch.
2. Williamson & Ruffles’ Holbam Celtic Erin. This girl is slightly heavier all through than 1 but she was good to go over and presented in first class order. Feminine headpiece with flat skull between her well set ears, nice dark eyes, minimal stop, strong jaw and correct dentition. Clean neck of good length, firm level topline, chest of good depth, strong loin and tail set on well. Nicely angulated front and rear and moving well when viewed in profile with confident carriage. Harsh, wiry jacket.

1. Atkin’s Holbam Celtic Summer ShCM ShCEx. This 3 yr old is now in her prime and is full of quality. Beautifully balanced with clean neck of good length, firm straight back, good depth to brisket, excellent ribbing, muscular loin and tail just right for set and carriage. Feminine headpiece of good length; flat skull which is rather narrow between her well set ears, minimal stop, dark expressive eyes, strong jaw and correct scissor bite. Shoulders well laid and good return of upper arm, she stands nice and straight in front on excellent feet and is moderately angulated behind with well muscled thighs and hocks well let down. Moving well all through with excellent self carriage and for me was a standout in today’s entry. Best Bitch & BOB.
2. Lee’s Sujoncla Goyathlay. 6 yr old who was presented in excellent condition and shown to advantage. A good sized girl and nicely balanced with neck of good length, she could be better in topline but pleased for rib and depth of chest, has a firm muscular loin and her tail is set on pretty high. Feminine in expression with head of good length, flat skull, fair ears, dark eyes which are a tad larger, strong jaw and correct dentition. She stands straight in front, is moderately angulated behind and sound enough but could not match profile action of winner.
