Irish Terriers

V (2)

1 Williamson & Stirling’s Ch Montelle Mi’Lady, an old favourite of mine who I had the pleasure of handling before & it’s hard to believe that she is just a week away from her 11th birthday. Very typical & so soundly made despite her years she still has a racy outline & a keen dark eye. Good forehand with adequate bone & good depth of chest. Good topline with decent muscle tone. Moved well both ways & her overall quality ensured she was BB;

2 Hardman’s Bonosue Eric The Red, a soundly made masculine dog of good type, good length of head & well laid shoulders. Not quite as racy as the winner but he has a good harsh jacket & pleases on the move.

JD (2)

1 Barker & Averis’ Lakeridge Cahal, beautifully balanced with a long punishing head & the darkest of fairly small eyes. Excellent forehand with good bone, legs & feet. Deep chest with good length of rib & excellent tailset. Sound on the move & presented to perfection, a pleasure to handle. BD & BOB;

2 Thomas’ Montelle Royal Leader, he has a really pleasing head with a good skull, decent ears & strong jaw. Deep chest & well ribbed back. Strong loin. Very good both coming & going & shown in good form & condition.

PGD (1)

1 Bradbury’s Montelle Strike A Vision, has lots of quality with a most pleasing head, good skull, neat ears & dark keen eye. Strong nicely arched neck & good shoulders. Excellent topline & tailset with slight rise over his well muscled loin. Crisp, harsh jacket. RBD.

OD (0).

JB (1)

1 Cooke’s Montelle Leading Question, typy & a really good moving bitch shown in a good textured jacket. Pleasing head, ears could be neater for perfection, strong jaw & good eye. Well ribbed back with good depth of chest & pleasing topline & tailset.

PGB (1)

1 Hardman’s Bonosue Whippersnapper, good head & expression, soundly made & very good moving. Pleasing neck & shoulders. Good topline with slight rise over the loin & high set tail. Active & lively & this stood her in good stead for the challenge. RBB.

OB (2)

1 Stahle & Nichols’ Shallcome’s Bronagh, presented a pleasing racy appearance. Good head & with neat ears & strong jaw, good body with decent depth of chest & typical topline & tailset. Moved soundly but just a shade lethargic;

2 Hardman’s Bonosue Snow Storm, a very good moving bitch with a lovely harsh jacket, pleasing head & well made all through. Just a little matronly in appearance now.
